Audrey's POV"Taylor. What the hell are you doing, let me go." Mia shouted in her face as Taylor continued to hold her back. She was so eager to hit me as she kept trying to swing at me, but couldn't get a strike because I was too far away and Taylor wasn't letting go of her as she pushed her back. "No. I'm not letting you hit her again. Only I get to say what happens to her." She refused as I watched the two without saying a word for once. I was still trying to figure out Taylor's sudden change of plans. She had to have something going on in her mind.
"Since when does the rules change? Why are you suddenly defending her? She's the enemy." She pointed her finger at the word she, make me roll my eyes as I searched for anything to help me get out of these ropes. "No." "She's not the enemy right now............you are." She glared at Mia, making her stop her movement and look at her in confusion.Everything went dead silent as my heart pounded, unknowingly what's to come next. I felt something bad was about to happen and all I could do was pray for the best...
After what seemed like a long time of quietness. I suddenly saw Mia's face turn angrier than before as she swung her fist at Taylor, making her stumble backwards, almost knocking me over in the chair.
I half-screamed from the unexpected move she pulled as I looked at Taylor taking control of her balancing again, glaring her down with fire. What the hell? "Don't do this to yourself Taylor. You know damn well that things won't end well if you make this move. Choose wisely." She warned her with a threat.I looked at Taylor and she didn't say anything except taking a quick hit back at her with a punch to the nose. I cringed at the sound of the impact as I think Taylor may have done some damage to her nose. But sadly, that didn't stop Mia from coming at her again as she grabbed Taylor by her jacket and shoved her into a bookshelf behind them. She didn't let go as she held onto her collar, glaring at her. Some books took a fall and the shelf rocked back and forth before Taylor kneed her in her area, making Mia let go and insult her with a bunch of harmful names.
While they were fighting, I needed to keep searching for a sharp object to help me free myself but there was not a thing insight except--a picture frame on the table next to me that Taylor was loading guns at. If I could just knock the frame off the desk, hopefully the glass would shatter and I can get a piece of glass to cut myself out of these tight ass ropes. Literally.
Glancing over at them again, what I was seeing now was Taylor picking up a lamp and launching it at her which she successfully dodged and it hit the ceiling fan, making a lot of noise. "Miss me." Mia bragged as she got back up to run at Taylor and tackle her to the ground. Since the both of them were obviously distracted, I might as well take my chance and shake the desk with my foot. I scooted to the right of my chair as far as I could and reached my foot out to the desk. On the first try, I shook my foot on the desk as hard as I could and the picture frame fell on the desk but not on the floor. I groaned as I looked back at them, wondering if they were still going at it with each other.
I needed to act quickly before one of them takes it too far.
Trying again, I shook the desk harder and a few bullets fell but the picture frame didn't. The one thing that I needed to fall doesn't want to and it's making me frustrated. I was running out of time and if I don't escape now, who knows what will happen next. I haven't had anything to eat since yesterday morning and I'm practically starving for even a piece of food to be handed to me. I don't care what it is just let me eat for god sakes.
I shook my head as I slightly got off track and quickly looked at them before I shoved my foot the hardest I've ever done and finally, the picture tipped over and the glass broke just like I hoped it would. But what I didn't hope was the attention I suddenly grabbed by the two of them as they stopped fighting and looked in my direction.
