I opened my eyes to the beaming light and immediately squinted my eyes, blinking a few times to adjust to the light since I couldn't see apparently. I turned my head to see Taylor still sound asleep with her arm wrapped around my waist.Smiling to myself as I recalled last night and what took place, I carefully yawned and removed myself from the bed so I didn't wake her. I picked up the robe that laid on the floor next to her clothes and put it on.
I forgot my phone was still in the bathroom after I left it to go to see who was the door so I went to go get it.The bathtub was still full with water so I lowered my arm in the water to pull the plug out. The glass of wine was half-empty but it was sitting out all night so I grabbed the glass and poured it down the sink.
I decided to look at myself in the mirror.
"Did I really just sleep with someone I once thought I hated?" I questioned out loud to myself. It doesn't feel real but I know it is.
"Yes. Yes, you did." I heard a raspy voice speak. Making me snap my head at the door to see Taylor leaning against the doorframe with a t-shirt on with her boxers.I suddenly blushed to myself. First time I've ever done that infront of her without cringing to myself. "How'd you sleep?" She chuckled as she came behind me and wrapped her arms around my waist and kissed me on the cheek.
"I slept good actually...........thanks to you." I bit my lip as I traced the letters of my name on her arm where the tattoo was.
"Like it?" She asked, making turn to look at her.
I began to nod my head. "Yes. Even though it's the craziest thing I've ever seen but yes........I like it very much...." I leaned in to give her a long kiss, and gasped when I felt one of her hands go further down my waist.
"You're cute." She smiled at me.
"I know I am." I remarked confidently and she moved her hand down even further roughly.I didn't say anything but open my mouth a little wide and gasp, making her smirk.
"Why don't we shower first and then I take you out for breakfast." She laughed as she removed her hands from me and stepped away."Did you bring any clothes with you?" I shook my head and asked her as I took my hair out of it's messy ponytail.
"Yeah, it's in the car I drove here. I'm about to go get it, be right back." She told me before disappearing. I heard the front door open moments later and then I turned around to start the hot water.
I grabbed my phone and saw that I had a miss call from Tyler. Oh yeah that's right, he did say that he was gonna call me last night..........apparently I got distracted by a certain someone..
Anyways, I tapped his name and the phone started to ring.
"Hello? Leah?" I heard him call out in a raspy voice. He must've been sleep.
"Tyler, hey. Listen, I saw that you called last night and when you did I was....asleep. And I'm just now waking up so....yeah." I lied. I couldn't tell him the actual reason why I didn't hear my phone go off. I don't know what his reaction will be and most importantly I'm still processing it so for now? It's only between Me and Taylor.
"Oh, it's fine. No worries. I figured that anyways so that's why I didn't really think about it too much." He said, and I looked up to see Taylor standing in the door with two duffel bags in her hands.I mouthed her to be quiet and that only made her smirk more. I rolled my eyes and turned around to check the water when I suddenly felt a hand smack against my butt, making me squeak.
"What was that?" Tyler laughed, making me snap and glare at Taylor."Uh, nothing. I-um thought I saw a rat or something." I came up with any excuse that crossed my mind. Taylor began laughing silently while holding her stomach. I am so gonna get her for that.
"A rat?" He questioned. I can tell that he was laughing silently in the background.
"Yes. A rat."He suddenly began laughing out loud, making me shake my head and feeling the urge to curse him out until I heard a door open and Audrey's voice.
"Can you shutup? It's way too early in the morning for you to be laughing that fucking loud. People are trying to sleep." She snapped at Tyler, making me snort.
"Aye, this is my house you're sleeping in. I'll kick you out if I have to." I heard him say.
"You can try." She challenged him."Oooo, tell em' sis." I laughed and she ended up laughing too.
"Hey Leah." I heard her shout from a distance.
"Hey, I sent you a text. Did you get it?" I asked as Taylor suddenly picked up her bags and left my sight.
"I think so, I'll go check." She said and then I heard the sound of a door closing, meaning she had left the room.
"Lexi's still asleep?" I asked him, and he shrugged.
"I believe so. She was the last one to go to sleep since she was up all night on the phone with her friends."
"Teenagers." I shook my head. The silence kicked in as he suddenly started yawning. Taylor came back with a towel wrapped around her neck. Did a mention she has a six pack? No? Well......
"Anyways, um I'm about to hop in the shower. I'll call you later." I said as Taylor began tapping on her wrist as if there was a watch there. I flipped her off and she mouthed 'Already did'.
"Alright, gone ahead. I'm gonna go back to sleep then."
"Okay, bye."
"Bye."I ended the call and looked up at Taylor who finally let out a big sigh.
"I'm gonna get your ass back for that stunt you pulled." I pointed my finger at her and she took the towel off her neck.
"You sure about that?" As she stepped closer towards me. Even though she was a few inches taller, it seemed like she was definitely way taller than that.
"Very." I stand my ground and she smirked again before snatching my phone out of my hands and running out the bathroom.
"Taylor, you get your ass back here!" I shouted and ran after her."You can't catch me..I'm the gingerbread man!" She sung while laughing.
I suddenly paused up the stairs and she turned around after she made it down them and smiled...
"What?" She smiled back from down there."Nothing." I replied, and then zoomed down the stairs, making her curse from how fast I went down the stairs.
