Audrey's POV

--------

It's been about 10 minutes since Leah went to the front desk with the receptionist we met with earlier while I sat far away in a chair on my phone.

As I moved around a little in the chair I was sitting in, I decided to pull out the small bottle Xavier gave to me earlier.
I was starting to go a bit crazy just thinking about what he told me back in that room.

He warned me to be cautious of my surroundings.....but why?

Is someone after me?
What the hell did I do for someone to be after me?

Should I tell Leah or keep this a secret to myself? This seems big to keep from her but then again I don't wanna add to her stress level.......Jesus help a girl here.

"Thank you so much Miss.." I heard someone say from afar distance.

I turned my head to see Leah, holding a small newspaper article in her hands.
"No problem. If there's any more questions you would like to ask me just come by and visit again, have a nice day and I hope your friend gets back to her normal self again.." The lady spoke to Leah as they came to the front..

"I will, and thanks, you too."

The lady sat at her desk and went back to what she doing while Leah began walking towards me, looking inside the newspaper.

I stared at the lady as she looked at me with the same smile she had earlier when we first walked in. My gut is telling me something about her but I don't know what is..

I glanced down at my hand and saw that the bottle was visible so I immediately stuffed it in my jacket, hoping she didn't see it on her way over here.
"Let's go.." She said instantly and began walking back towards the elevator.

I got up instantly and we both went towards the elevator.

As we were walking, I kept glancing at Leah and it looked like she must've seen something inside that paper because she kept staring at it.

Finally making it back to the right floor and down the hall back to Lauren's room. We walked in to see Lauren standing up beside the bed, about ready to lay back down.

"Good, you guys are back.......So what happened?" She questioned as she struggled to get back in the bed since the right side of her rib cage was messed up at the moment.

I looked at Leah as I sat down in one of the chairs next to the window.

"The...lady gave me a newspaper that may help us such as a few missing lists...and reports in it, but look what I happen to come across..." She said.

I took my jacket off and went towards her as she showed Lauren the paper.
"The paragraph says that the year of 1987 in April that....a newborn appeared to be missing just hours after he or she was born......police and investigators have not found any evidence leading to the unexpected, strange and mysterious tragedy.."

I rose my eyebrows as she finished.
"This is absolutely crazy..." I say shaking my head.
"You can say that again...."

She flipped back and forth on the page that she just read, using a black marker to circle around the paragraphs.

"Okay.......what about me? Did you ask her about any newspaper or anything that happened the day I was born?" I suddenly asked her.
"Yeah, I mentioned your birth date, and she went through a couple papers on her desk from that year and couldn't find anything....which is quite odd to me.." She responded.
