Don't Go.

My heart began to race as I exchanged a slow look over to Taylor. She was just as frightened as I was right about now.
"Time is ticking, sweetheart." Mia smirked beside Lexi, crossing her arms as Lexi adjust her soft grip on the gun. Her hands were literally trembling as she pointed the gun at the both of us, exhaling heavily as a tear manage to escape from one of her eyes.

She began shaking her head at me,
"I-I can't do it." She stuttered, letting her voice crack weakly.
"You can do it and you will." Mia replied back, wiping the smirk off her face as she made Lexi look at her. "You're at a minute and forty five seconds. I suggest you start thinking pretty wisely here." She gritted through her teeth, shooting a glare at me as Lexi looked back at me and then at Taylor.

"Mia, leave her out of this. She has nothing to do with anything—"
"No," She cut me off, angrily pointing at finger at me as I remained still. Taylor immediately stepped closer next to me as she saw Mia take a step towards me but not far enough to have her complete back towards Lexi.

"I know Audrey warned you about what I was gonna do if you didn't stop messing with me.
You could've stayed out of this and lived happily fucking ever with your daughter but no. You did the complete opposite and walked your ass right into it. Should've listened to me the first time."

"Listen to you?" I repeated her question in disbelief, "Why the hell would I stand back like some freaking bystander and not defend my sister from a crazy son of a bitch like you? As long as I'm alive on this earth and standing on my two feet, I am and will protect my family from harms way and if you haven't glued that to apart of your memory yet than I suggest you do it now." I growled with my fist balled, stepping into her face.

In a swift of a motion she snatched the gun out of Lexi's hand and aimed it directly in my face,
"What was that?" She whispered, poking her nose out more as she smirked evilly, earning a gasp by Taylor who somehow got Lexi to stand by her side.
I sighed in a bit relief as I realized Lexi wasn't hostage under Mia anymore and couldn't be harmed, "Unball those fists right now or else I will put a bullet through your skull." She threatened me fiercefully, staring directly into my eyes. She wasn't gaining anymore power over me. I was tired of this. I was tired of someone always thinking they can just control me whenever they felt like it. I was done being treated like shit, especially when I didn't deserve it. I was through with everything.

"Leah, do what she says." Taylor's voice spoke once again, catching my attention as I stared at the gun being pointed at me.

"So she can have the benefit of the doubt?"
"Hell no." I added, clenching my jaw as I kept my eyes on Mia. My fists were still balled and I were gonna keep them that way until they were ready to connect with her face.
"If she wanted to shoot me, trust me she would've done it already. Right?" I titled my head at her as she gripped the gun harder, flaring her nose at me again.

"How dare you speak down on any of us for being weak when clearly you're weaker."
"You only put on a show to hide who you really are and that's nothing other than pathetic. You think aiming a gun at me is going to lift your power over me? Think again, Mia." I glared her in the eyes, stepping even closer.

"Apparently you talk more than you bark, and if I'm right? You won't even try to pull the trigger."
"You're wrong."
"Am I?" I questioned amusingly, motioning  around the room with my hands up.

"Pull the trigger then if I'm wrong." I shrugged my shoulders, side smirking as she re adjusted her grip on the gun again. Is it slippery?
"Mom, don't push her limits." Lexi cried out behind Taylor as I remained locked eyes with Mia.
"Pushing her limits is currently the right thing to do, Lexi..." I replied back, tilting my head to the side again.
