I Can't.

It's been quite awhile since I've last said anything towards her as my eyes still remained on the tattoo, I was suddenly trying to sink this all in as she confirmed it.....So what she told me was real.........She does have feelings for me...........but why? Why does she?
"Why?" I questioned myself out loud, meaning to say it inside my head but apparently, I failed at that.
"Huh?" She responded, thinking I was talking to her when I was really asking myself that.
I looked at her finally and kept the eye contact. I was trying to make room for whatever is left inside my head. The person I disliked the most.......has romantic feelings for me?? What?
I still can't believe this shit. No, I just can't-like it's confusing and and-
"Nothing." I mumbled, shaking my head a little before sitting back in the seat. I remained silent for awhile as I struggled to come up with theories to solve this issue. But none of them seemed reasonable enough.....
"Okay.......first off," I spoke again after finding the right words to say next.

She looked at me as I fiddled with my thumbs, opening and closing my mouth.
"When did this all start?" I shrugged, finally looking at her as she looked at the rear-view mirror to see if everyone was still following us, which they were.
"Does it matter now?" She asked, making me raise my eyebrows.
"Uh, yeah. It definitely matters now."

"I don't see why it does, I mean it's not like things are gonna change right?" She kept her eyes on the road as we suddenly pulled infront of a medium sized house. Well it looks more like a club house to me. I couldn't really take in all of it because it was pitch dark outside except the stars in the sky and the streetlights.......How did she even get the money to afford this....oh wait. I forgot, her parents were rich-ish. Or whatever you call it.
"You don't know that, now do you?" I asked her as we pulled into the driveway.

She stared at me for a few seconds before we saw a pair of headlights pull behind us, making me unbuckle my seatbelt and get out of the truck. Conversation on hold. I needed to make sure Audrey gets settled in. She's my main focus at the moment.

I watched as the second truck pulled in the driveway and everyone got out and followed Taylor into the house in silence. We all need to eat and sit down. Everyone has been on their feet all day, well especially me. A nice long bath should do the trick..
"Here, let me help you." I offered, grabbing Audrey's right arm and swinging it around my neck while Tyler was on the opposite side of her doing the same thing. We carried her all the way into the house and laid her on one of the couches. She instantly closed her eyes and let out a huge sigh before reopening her eyes and finally giving me a weak smile.
"How you holding up still?" I asked her as I sat next to her on the couch. This house was really nice well-designed. I'll give her props for managing to have a house so amazing.......I still wonder how she managed to get this house without her parents knowing? And how long did she keep this a secret to herself?
"I'm alright for now. But I could use a Big Mac or two.........or three. I'm just hungry as hell right now." She chuckled, as I looked up at Eason and Tyler, walking around the house, examining everything that was here.
"Don't worry, we'll all be eating soon. I'll have a few of us go get some fast food for all of us to eat...........when was the last time you ate?" I asked, looking at the cast on her leg. She needs some crutches immediately. I know she's not gonna wanna be sitting on her ass all day doing nothing.
"I think maybe yesterday afternoon, I don't really remember." She answered, making me snap my head at her.
"She didn't feed you?" I questioned, my voice growing stern as I stood up.

She shook her head making me growl under my breath to go search for Taylor when she grabbed my arm. "Stop." She said, making me sit back down on the couch.
"Why are you suddenly taking her side now? She doesn't deserve that."
"I know but, you can't forget that she's the reason why I'm not dead yet.......M-Mia was gonna try and hurt me but Taylor stopped her from doing so....."
"My own bestfriend......" She whispered while shaking her head at me.

"T-This whole entire time......I thought that she was on my side and had my back............when really she was the opposite.....She pretended to be my best friend for four freaking years...........w-who does that to someone?" "What did I do to deserve that?" She shrugged at me with teary eyes, oh god I hated when she cried. It breaks my heart so much, you wouldn't understand.
"Nothing," I mumbled in her ear as I hugged her from the couch. "You did absolutely nothing to deserve that." I rubbed her back as I closed my eyes, wishing I could get my hands on that son of a bitch for hurting her.

Her tears came out as soon as those sudden words left my mouth, but her sobs were muffled due to my shoulder that she was crying on as I held onto her. I closed my eyes tight as I fought to remain strong infront of her, I wasn't gonna cry right now......I can't..."I just wish all of this can be over and done with." She sobbed, as I looked up at Tyler who's face frowned immediately once he realized what was happening. I gave him a sad look.

We pulled away and I grabbed her face to make sure she was looking at me. "It will be over. I promise you that it will, okay? Just be a little more patient. We'll make it through this." I held her hands and rubbed them.

She sniffed and looked up at Tyler before nodding her head, giving me another hug.
When we let go, she laid her back on the pillow and looked around at everyone else who was either standing somewhere in the living room around us in their own little worlds or observing things.
"So who's gonna ride with me to get something to eat?" Taylor came back into sight as she fixed her jacket, looking at the boys.

"I'll tag along." Ace announced as he stood up from the chair across from the large flat screen TV. "It's alright, you don't have to go. I'll go instead to avoid any trouble. Ace and whoever is riding with me, let's go." Tyler spoke up, jiggling his keys in his pocket as he walked towards the front door.
"No, I'll just go. You two done enough already." Ace pitched in, making Tyler stop.

"You sure man? Wanna take two other people with you just in case?" He asked him as everyone else came into view, joining the conversation about who's going to get the food. "Yeah, I'm sure." He assured him, glancing around at everyone.

"I'll come to. I can use more fresh air." Nick mumbled as he walked to the front door, towards outside. Poor guy.
"Same." Xavier agreed, passing the glaring Connor. I seriously wanna know what the heck happened between them two. And who's this boy anyway?
"Alright, let's go." Ace said as the three of them exited the door while everyone watched.

I feel like more people should've went with them but then again the more people, the better chance of something bad happening so..

We heard the car start up and the engine fade away as everyone remained silent in their own thoughts...
"Where's the bathroom?" I suddenly turned my head towards Taylor, making her look up at me.
"It's...down the hall upstairs to the left, second door on the right." She instructed as I saw her pick up a remote and turn the TV on.
I nodded as in thank you and got up to head towards the stairs. I went up them and turned left, opening the second the door that she said and walked in, closing the door behind me.
I really wasn't gonna use the bathroom. I just used this as an excuse to be by myself for a few minutes....I can't think right now. Every thought that's in my head is running around and I can't take a grip of anything that's there.....thanks to Taylor........oh god. Why me?

I let out a huge sigh before I shook my head and walked towards the big mirror that hung infront of me, staring at myself deeply. I've changed a lot in the past few years. I didn't used to be like this. Once all this chaotic shit started happening, it not only changed me. It also changed my life in so many ways you wouldn't understand. I don't know if it was for the better.......or worse........it's just has......

I snapped my head at the door as it swung open to the one and only Taylor.
"What are you doing in here?" I asked as she came in and shut the door.

"Let me explain myself to you.........just so I can get this off my chest and for good." She spoke, looking at me dead in the eyes, probably hoping that I would say yes. God, not now. Pleasee.

I looked up at her with my hands still on top of the sink.
"Why should I let you explain yourself?" I questioned her, shortly looking down at the floor afterwards.
She exhaled lightly,
"Because I want things to change between us." She took a step forward towards me, making me move away slightly.
"Sorry." She mumbled, taking a step back after she noticed my sudden movement.

I looked at her and then decided that I should let her tell me everything.
"Fine....go ahead. Explain. Oh, and don't leave anything out." I cleared my throat as I crossed my arms, turning my body towards her.

"Okay, I won't."
