After her froze session, the class went silent. Everyone was confused and scared at the same time because they didn't understand what was going on. Neither did I.The person that was infront of her waved his hand infront of her face and she blinked multiple times before scanning the classroom.
"Ms. Tate, are you okay?" Someone asked."Um, yeah I'm fine. Sorry...for that everyone, I didn't mean to frighten you guys." She mumbled.
She went to sit at her desk and the class remained silent as everyone watched her.
I guess she was calming herself down after what just happened.
"Alright guys, once again I am sorry for that, but I still want you guys to do the activity. Just write it out on paper and turn it in. Since, I don't have any lesson plans yet, you guys can take the opportunity to do whatever as long as it doesn't cause problems."
Everyone nodded or made a side comment and began to do the assignment.
She glared at me before turning around towards her computer and started typing. This time I was the one staring at her because I feel like I should recognize her or something like that. Whatever it is, I can't put a finger on it.

Ever since that class I've been in and out of most of my classes. Especially PE. I almost ran into a wall by being too deep in my thoughts. Also during PE, in the locker rooms, I would normally change out in the open where all the other girls change at but when I was getting ready to take my shirt off, I looked in the mirror and saw a bruise right where I hit against the wall when I was physically pushed by my own freaking sister. To be honest, I don't know what's her deal and why she's acting like this....it's like she's been holding in all that anger she has with me, and is now lashing it out.
"Audrey?"
I snapped my head towards my group. They were all staring at me like they were this morning.
"Finally, I've been calling your name for minutes. What has you up in your thoughts?" Mia asked in concern.I sighed and shook my head.
"Nothing, I'm just...really....tired.." I mumbled. They all seemed to believed what I said except her. She kept looking at me, possibly trying to find some sort of hint that I wasn't telling the full truth.
"Um, Audrey? Can I talk to you...in private?" Mia glanced at me.I opened my mouth to give her an answer but she already got up to leave.
I looked at everyone else for a quick second and got up following her outside the cafeteria, away from all the noise.
She stopped and turned around crossing her arms.
"What the heck is going on with you?" She whispered to me so the people walking by couldn't hear.
"Nothing." I lied. I didn't want to her know about what happened this morning between and Taylor.
"There is something. I can see it in your face, obviously something is up with you." She said, sounding worried and concerned.I suddenly gasped remembering what happened this morning with Ms. Tate.
"Well today, after homeroom. Ms. Tate told us we were doing an activity as a class, and the activity was about her getting to know us more...since you know....she's new and all,"She nodded in agreeement.
"So, she went first and we all asked her questions. A few asked her about her full name, birthday and so on. So I decided to give it a shot and ask her if she has any siblings..."I paused there and looked at her who was still listening, patiently waiting for the rest of the story.
"Then what?"
"Then, she froze all of a sudden." I told her, still confused on why that happened.Mia rose her eyebrows at me.
"She froze?"I nodded.
"What do you mean she froze?"
"It was like she went into shock or something Mia, I don't really know..." I explained.
"Well obviously there's a reason why she—"She was cut off by sudden loud voices and other things being pushed around in the cafeteria. We both turned the corner and as soon as we did, we both saw Connor picking Xavier up and slamming him down on the ground.
"What the hell?" We both say in unison before we ran into the cafeteria.
"Connor stop!" Liam shouted as him and Nick tried to get both of them to stop attacking each other.I took a quick glance around the cafeteria and notice almost everyone was watching or either recording. Well of course, it's a high school fight.
Some other two guys joined in to help stop the fight but Connor was not giving in.
I really wanted to help stop the fight but since the current condition I'm in with my shoulders and Mia's concern stares, I don't think interfering is the best option at the moment.
"Connor let him go now!" Ariana said trying to calm him down.He had Xavier in a headlock and was probably almost near killing him, until he finally let go pushing him away from him.
Nick immediately grabbed Xavier and took him out of the cafeteria along with Ariana.
"What the hell happened?" Mia asked Connor as he got up.Well at least she beat me to it.
"Um, is everything alright?" One of the boys who helped, asked.
"Yeah, everything will be. Thank you both, a lot." I told them which they nodded and left. After Connor regained his breath back, he just shook his head and left.
"Let me just talk to him and I'll let you guys know, so all of us can sort this out." Liam suggested. We both agreed and he left to go with Connor.
We both looked at each other and back at everyone else who was still watching.
I rolled my eyes and started fixing the lunch tables.
