Ready?

Leah's POV

For the past hour, we've been going over everything that was gonna fall into place for the plan. It took a lot of agreements and disagreements to come up with a conclusion on what was going down. We were bringing weapons just in case they had a whole army waiting for us. Medical Supplies, computers, tools, and a whole bunch of stuff that were needed. Tyler had about five guys helping us, and each of them were just about perfect for the job. I believe their names were Tanner, Eason, Issac, Ace, and Jay. I think they were about in the same age range as me and Tyler.
"Aye, Ace. How far are you?" Tyler asked as he went over towards the one that had a cut right above his left eyebrow. "I'm almost done. See here, look." He pointed to something on his screen, letting Tyler see what it was.

Ace is the hacker for us. Right now he's has everything set up to hack into Taylor's phone and find her location. Now obviously, we would've tracked Audrey's but I was recently told that she left her phone in her locker. I don't know what was going on in her mind at the time when she put it in there, but I'm telling you now that she wasn't thinking properly. And neither am I at the moment.

I looked over towards the kitchen where Connor, Hailey and Nick were all at. Hailey was currently laughing with Connor about something and Nick was sitting at the island, staring into space. His food remained untouched as he only unwrapped the burger wrapper and it's been sitting there for some time now.

Taking a small breath, I walked over there and leaned across the island, making him look up at me. "What's on your mind?" I asked, making him blink multiple times before he picked up his burger. "Um, nothing. I was just thinking." He mumbled, taking a bite to keep himself from talking any further.

I rose my eyebrows at him to show him that I didn't believe him.
"Thinking about Mia?" I suddenly asked the brilliant question. I know he must feel completely broken knowing the fact that he just found out that his girlfriend wasn't what he thought she was. "Yeah...." He let out.

"I just-never thought she would be capable of doing something like that.....Can't believe I was blinded by my stupid feelings towards her." He shook his head. "I guess this is what I get for trusting people." He mumbled under his breath, making Connor and Hailey stop laughing and walk towards us.

I didn't say anything as I totally understood his situation. Connor looked at me and I gave him a nod as he put his hand on Nick's shoulder. Rubbing it while he sat down next to him. Hailey came around the island and we both went downstairs where the other guys were.

Once we made it downstairs, we saw Eason and Tanner putting bullets into two handguns while Issac and Jay were outside getting the trucks ready.
Everyone had a special outfit to keep themselves safe from any harm that were to come. The ones that were gonna be armed were Me, Tyler, Eason and Tanner. Everyone else was either gonna be the lookout or watching us through the cameras that we have attached to our bulletproof vests.
"Thanks to Tyler for these awesome outfits he brought." Eason chuckled as he looked up at us.

"Yeah..true. With these vests and everything that we have on, it'll put less stress on us about getting hit by anything even though these aren't always good enough, they still are very useful." I said as I grabbed two of the guns that were ready on the table infront of us and handed one to Hailey. I put in the pocket holder on the side of my waist as Hailey did the same. She told me she has a past that involved something like this and being as respectful as I can, I didn't question her anything else after that. What ever happened is her business, not mine. But I am still concerned though.
"So this girl that we're trying to rescue is your sister right?" Tanner asked as he picked up a can of soda that he opened and took a few gulps.
"Yeah.....her name is Audrey." I answered his question, giving him her name as well. "How old is she?" He suddenly asked, in result of Eason smacking him upside the head. "Dude." Eason looked at him.
"What? I'm just asking questions." He shrugged at him as he held he back of his head in slight pain.

Hailey laughed as I shook my head at the two. "She's almost 18 and off limits if that's the case." I rose my eyebrow at him with a smirk on my face.
He shook his head and picked up another gun as Eason made an ooh sound underneath his breath to tease Tanner. Teenage boys are so childish these days but in a funny way sometimes..

The silence filled for just a split second before we heard footsteps coming down to the basement. "Are we all set yet down here? Ace finally got a location." Tyler announced, making all heads turn to him. The look on his face gave off a confused expression, making me look at him completely.
"Yeah we're all set. Here." Eason said as he handed Tyler a gun.

"Where is she at now?" I asked him as we followed him back up the stairs.
He turned to me as he opened the door. "A hospital about over an hour and a half away from here." He said.
"Come again?" I asked as I looked at Nick who still conversed with Connor in the kitchen.
"The town or-city she's in right now is called Lightmoor. It's not a popular place either."

"Lightmoor?" I repeated.

"That sounds familiar to me but I don't know why?" I mumbled to myself, rubbing my temples slightly as everyone gathered by the living room.

I shook my head as I continued to search inside my head for a connection to that name......I know I've heard that name before. "Jay, you guys ready for us?" Tyler spoke on the phone, putting it on speaker. "Yeah we're ready, let's go." He told us and everyone headed towards the door. I was infront so I opened the door and turned around.
Everyone exited my apartment and stepped aside, I double checked to make sure I locked everything.

I took the key and placed it under the mat infront of my house just incase it got lost. The spare key is with Lauren still and I don't know if I'll ever get that back so if I took the key that I have with me, I would have to go get a new one.
"You coming?" Eason yelled out the window, making me turn around.

There are two trucks. Half us will be in the first one and the other half will be in the second one. "Yeah, here I come." I yelled back as I stepped off the porch, looking at the sky that was about to turn into night.
I entered the back with Ace and Eason while Tyler sat in the front with Jay. "The ride is about an hour and ten minutes long so buckle up." Jay turned to the back.

"Isaac, y'all good back there?" Jay presses his mic into his ear, looking into the rear view mirror. Everyone had one to communicate of course.
"Yeah we're good, just waiting on your move." Issac answered.
"Alright."

I looked out of the window at my house and wondered if this may be my last time viewing it.....

Lol, I'm just kidding. "Let's go get my sister." I cleared my throat and sat back, and finally we pulled off down the street....
