Sleep.....sleep is what I can't seem to process right now. This is like my third
time waking up, in the middle of the night, and there's really nothing I can do about it.

I have too many things on my mind.

For one, out of all the things I feel...I feel confused the most. I mean....wouldn't you guys too, or is it just me? All of this shit just happened in one freaking week. Imagine what can happen in just a day.

I open my eyes, frustrated that I can't fall back to sleep. I roll over to the other side of my bed, to get my phone which was currently on the charger. I unhooked it and laid back down, resting my head on the headboard.

I went through all of my social medias and just checked to see what's new and stuff for about 10 minutes. I knew that wasn't going to get my mind off things, so I decided to get up.

Since it's still winter outside, it's very cold and guess what...I have on shorts.
I know right. Smart choice.
I grabbed a pair of socks out my drawer and grabbed my robe off my door before heading out towards downstairs. As I got closer towards the bottom of the stairs, I could hear multiple giggles, coming from the living room. Of course she invited her barbie friends over here.

I rolled my eyes and walked inside the kitchen. It was dark but not pitch black, so I was able to see a little.

I went towards the freezer to get my ice cream I bought a couple of days ago and never touched it do to the fact that my mind never crossed it. Now it has.

I grabbed my ice cream and a spoon along with it, and headed backwards to my room. I knew for sure that I wasn't going to sleep anytime soon after eating this, but oh well. I don't have school tomorrow anyways.

I grabbed my phone and sat down on the bed. I decided to FaceTime Mia because right now I needed someone to talk to, and she's the only one.

The phone rang for like 5 seconds before it connected. When it connected, her face showed on the screen. She yawned loudly and gave me a small smile.
"Did I wake you?" I asked while smiling knowing I did.
"No Audrey, you didn't wake me up at...."

She checked the time on her watch.
"4:32 in the morning." She snapped.

Yeah, she's not a morning person and neither am I. I get real snappy.
"Sorry, it's just I couldn't sleep because I have too much on my mind and I needed someone to talk to." I explained.
"Aww you're so sweet." She smirked.
"Shutup." I laughed.

I jump awake after hearing knocks coming downstairs. I yawned as I struggled to get to the window. I peeked through the curtains and saw it was a car parked infront of my house.
I grabbed my robe and went downstairs, walking towards the door.

I opened the door.
"Finally you're awake. I've been calling your phone." Mia mumbled before walking in the door.

I closed the door and rubbed my eyes. I feel a little better then I did a few hours ago.
"Sorry, I was still asleep."

"Yeah...I can tell for sure." She chuckled.

I squinted my eyes at her and flipped her off.
"Why are you here so early?" I asked going to the kitchen to get some water.
"Uh, it's actually one in the afternoon." She said with an eyebrow rose while she leaned against the counter.

I paused for a moment before shrugging. I didn't know I slept that long.

I took a sip before pouring the rest out into the sink. I needed to eat something.
"I'm hungry." I say.
"Well get dressed then. Connor wants us to head to the grocery store to buy extra supplies to set up for the party tonight. We can stop by McDonald's or something."
