We all headed towards the house, passing through possibly drunk people. We finally reached the door guarded by a big buffed man wearing a black and white suit. He had his arm crossed and kept the security serious look on his face. Something is telling me we won't be entering this party right away.
"Names please." He said while holding what seemed to be a clipboard.
"Uhm...we weren't actually invi—"
"If you're not on this list, then I can't let you in. Host's orders." He explained. We all exchanged looks, we didn't come all the way out here just to be told no.
"Sir, can you please let us through? This party is probably one of the best ones in this neighborhood. And we can't miss it." I begged him.He stopped scanning the clipboard and looked straight at me.
"Wait...aren't you related to Taylor?" He asked.I looked at Mia and she gave me the 'say yes' look. Even though I wouldn't be lying because I am related to that baboon. Yes, I'm giving her all sorts of nicknames because she gets on my last nerve.
"Yes, I am related to her." I told him smiling shortly after.
"Well...I'll let you guys in, only because you're related to Taylor. And Taylor is pretty much popular around he—"
"Yeah, I know." I said cutting him off.I didn't want him going on about the amazing Taylor and why she's so perfect. She makes me sick. I am about tired of been noticed now all because I'm her sister. Back then it really started pissing me off. Everyone kept referring to me as Taylor's little sister. She was only 2 years older. Not that big of a difference. They barely used Audrey. Then I had to put everyone in their right places and tell them that my birth name and my current name was Audrey, and Audrey only. Let's see how long that lasts.
"Welcome to the party, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy yourselves." He told us as he opened the door for us.
"Thanks."We all walked inside the house and were getting stares from mostly everyone. Most eyes were on me for a few seconds and then back to whatever they were doing before. The house smelled of alcohol and not so much of weed, but you can definitely tell someone is high. The music was booming loud, as everyone in mostly every part of downstairs were either dancing or drinking. They were probably drunk already. Who knows.
"You guys ready?" Ariana shouted.
"Hell yeah." Xavier shouted with her.Everyone began parting away to go enjoy themselves as I still took in the beautiful house features.
"Come on, let's go get a drink that's non alcoholic." Mia suggested.I nodded as we began making our way towards the kitchen. We had no idea where it was, but after asking a few questions from a guy we found it. The kitchen was huge. Well-designed and everything. Must've costed a fortune to get all of this the way it is.
"Oh look, they have Pepsi." I nudged her as I grabbed a can.We both opened our cans and began drinking it. There were other people in the kitchen minding their business, eating, chatting or drinking.
We both continued to chat away and talk about stuff, mainly like what's going on currently. Mia is like the only person I can really talk to whenever there's a problem. I can't go to my sister so I guess she's my only choice. Now my Mom....I wouldn't say I can't talk to her either. It's just that she really favors Taylor over more than me. So I guess I kinda lost that little connection right there between me and her.
"Hey ladies." We heard two voices say in unison. We both turned around to spot Liam and Nick approaching us.
"Hey guys." Mia smiled.
"You guys see my sister yet?" I asked them shortly after laughing at their little stunt, hoping they did see her so that I could get my revenge already.
"No not yet. We did see Ariana and Connor drinking a full bottle of alcohol though." Nick laughed.
"But we have school tomorrow." Mia said stating the obvious.
"Hey, we tried to tell them. They didn't listen. They'll learn their lesson tomorrow." Liam shrugged.
"Whatever."
