(Part 4) Do you Remember? (Matsus x Dead! Reader)

I didn't like my Osomatsu San x Dead Reader book, so I am revising it and posting it here. Sorry for so much angst lately.

You woke up in a hospital bed with an IV in your arm. A few nurses surrounded you and eventually, one noticed that you were awake.

"Oh hello miss (y/n)! You are finally awake! We just had to give you some blood since you lost a lot of your own due to a certain incident....."

You looked down in dissapointment that you hadn't died and shame for making Todomatsu upset. She began removing the IV from your arm.

"Luckily, you are okay now, so you are free to leave. However due to all of these...." She pointed to your fresh burns and cuts. "We are going to have you go stay with someone until we know you are mentally okay. Unless you would like to stay in our mental health care facility h-"

"N-no thanks! I will stay with someone!" You stammered, not wanting to go to a mental facility.

You heard those places were horrifying and made you sleep on rock hard beds and eat the most nasty food.

The woman nodded.

"The man that brought you here said you were a close friend of him and his family. Would you be alright staying there?"

You thought for a moment. Did you want to go there? You didn't want the others to know about what had happened and you didn't want Todomatsu to scold you. Biting your hand, you got lost in thought.

"Hey, don't do that. You will make yourself bleed again!" The nurse said as she gently moved your hand away from your mouth.

"Do you mind if I call him first? Just to see if it is okay....." You asked.

The nurse nodded and dialed the number on the hospital phone before giving it to you and leaving with the other nurses.

Ring.....

No answer.

Ring.....

No answer.

Ring.....

"Hello?" It was Karamatsu.

"K-Karamatsu! Can you give the phone to Todomatsu please?"

"(Y/n)? Where have you been? And why are you calling from this number? Did you lose your phone, my Karamatsu girl~?"

"U-uh.... Yeah! That's it! A-and I've just been busy with schoolwork! Please give the phone to Todomatsu now!"

"Yes, my dear~"

You cringed. Painful.

"(Y/n)? Are you alright?" Perfect! Todomatsu!

"Yes I am alright..... I am free to go, but they said.... T-they said I-I have to stay with someone until they think I am 'm-mentally stable'....." Your voice got quieter and you choked on your words.

"Hey! Don't cry! You can stay with us!"

"But I don't want your brothers finding out. I didn't even want you knowing about it......" You were speaking barely above a whisper.

"They won't! I will make sure of it! And I'm glad I found out. If I hadn't, you wouldn't be alive!"

You nodded and then realized that he couldn't hear a nod over the phone.

"Okay. Thank you...."

"No problem! I will be there soon!"

"Okay! Bye....."
