A ding from your phone caught your attention. A smile spread across your face as you heard the familiar tone belonging to your best and only friend, Matsuno Choromatsu. The two of you had known each other for about a year and a half and he confided in you as you did him.
Over time by talking with this man, you found out he was the third eldest in a group of sextuplets and had an obsession with Nyaa-Chan. The two f you bonded over common interests and anime.
However, there was something keeping the two of you apart: you only knew each other online. Sure the two of you Skyped and texted 24/7, but that was as far as it had ever gone. It tore you apart. This man whom you had never met in person was your only friend and not being able to physically meet him made you upset.
But what if you could see him in person?
Picking up your phone off of your dresser, you opened the new message from your best friend.
Churro: Hey! Do you wanna video chat?🐸
You chuckled at how he added a frog emoji to the end. He was such a dork.
You: Yeah of course!
You practically sprinted over to your laptop and flipped it open with great force. Almost immediately after it was turned on, a call came in from Choromatsu, making your stomach clench in excitement. With a click of your mouse, you accepted the call, smiling like a goofball.
"H-hi, (y/n)-chan!" The man on the other line greeted with a small wave, a tint of red on his cheeks.
You simply laughed and waved back.
"How are you Choromatsu-kun?"
"Pretty decent I suppose. My brothers are being stupid as usual..... And o have no friends where I live to hang out with. Just you over text and video calling..... But that's okay because you're good to talk to. Heck, I've never met you in person and I think you understand me more than anyone....."
You smiled at the comment; it was nice knowing someone appreciated you since it was rare for you to hear it.
As stated, a major factor separating you and the man that you hopelessly loved was the fact that you only knew each other over technology. It had never really come to mind for one of you to find a plane ticket and visit the other. So when you finally had the idea and found an affordable ticket, you planned to tell the man but always got interrupted.
"About that 'never meeting you in person' thing..... I-I found a tick-"
"CHOROMATSU? WHO'S THIS?!?!" One of his brothers boasted as he sprinted into the room and stole his brother's phone. This man who you assumed was Osomatsu by how Choromatsu described him. He was clad in red.
Once again, another chance to tell Choromatsu about the possibility of seeing each other in real life was in fact ruined. Screw you Osomatsu.
"OSOMATSU! G-GIVE ME MY PHONE!" The poor frog-man began to freak out, his face a deep crimson and tears in the corners of his eyes.
"She's beautiful! Damn she's got a nice rack too! What's her name? Is she a porn star?"
You gulped, "(y-y/n).... And heck no...."
