"soo...tell me about this girl" brendon said as he put a bowl of cereal in front of me.
"well..." a smile grew on my face. "she's beautiful" i started.
"how beautiful?" he asked.
"insanely beautiful. and shes really nice. and confident" i told him.
"that could be handy" he pointed out.
"justin asked for her number then she told him she wasn't interested..."
brendon laughed "thats terrible! have you texted her?" he asked.
"no...im scared" i admitted.
"i thought so" he smiled fondly.
"she's jus so pretty and cool..."
"just say hi. im sure she won't ignore you or anything" he assured me.
"you do it" i passed him my phone.
he scoffed playfully. "whats her name?"

"jessica" i replied.
"found her" he typed away and slid it back to me then saw my face.
"she called you cute" he pointed out.
"so does justin" i said.
he sighed. "why'd she give you her number then? nudes?" he asked.
"possibly" i joked. he chuckled
my phone buzzed.

jessica: im so glad you finally texted me!!

jessica: whats your name cutie?
me: dylan

jessica: well dylan. are you free tomorrow? we can hang out. you could meet my friends?

me: err about that

me: im a mute

me: i don't talk
jessica: you spoke to me the other day?

me: i see a therapist weekly and im starting to try and talk a bit. so far i've said three words...to you.
