My lower back grew sore. I can barely walk, let alone stand. School just begin. I enter my first period, and as I search around the room, I see Liam sitting in the middle row of the class. His eyes were busy on the sketchbook he was drawing in. I took a seat carefully on the front row.

Class begins, and we took notes about the history of Shakespeare's plays: the tragedies and the comedies. I was more interested on how Shakespeare got these ideas. I know in some instances he got them base off of actual history while he others he made up.

Once class was over, it was lunch time. We trot downstairs and enter the cafeteria. I grab a plate and got a dish of fruits and pancakes. I didn't feel like eating much. The sores were taking my appetite away.

"Hi, Ally," Jade greets as she stands by me.

"Hi, Jade," I reply, trying to mind my own business.

"I see that you seem a little bit out of it today," Jade smirks. She knew very well what she did last night. And it was on purpose. Seriously? Who would accidentally drive to the curb and then laugh at you later?

"Jade, I'm not really in the mood today, okay," I tell her, even though I know she wouldn't care.

Jade smiles, surprisingly, and stands tall. "Okay," she replies, slapping my back slightly. I squirm and gasp with my mouth close. She frowns and remarks, "Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot." She snickers before she walks off.

I don't know why, but Jade always love to pick on me. I've never done anything wrong to her. We use to be friends, but then, one day, she just turned around and started talking bad about me. Although I don't like it, there's nothing much I can do about it.

I carry my tray to the table Normani, Niall, and Dinah resided. I set my tray next to Dinah and in front of Normani and sat down. "How is the Wicked Witch of the West?" Dinah questions.

I shake my head. "Don't get me started on that," I reply. I groan a little, feeling my back aching. I squirm in my seat until the ache ease away into nothing.

"How is your back?" Niall questions.

"Sore," I answer.

"Do you need any help carrying your bag? I can carry it for you if you want," Niall suggests, and I smile.

I bring my hand and play with his messy blonde hair. "You're so sweet, Niall. But nah, I got it. I'm strong enough still." Well, physically. Emotionally, I am scarred.

I look down on my tray and remember I grabbed a lot. "Does anybody want my pancakes?"

"Ally, you're just going to eat your fruits?" Normani questions. "There's like only four pieces of fruit on your tray other than your pancakes."

"I will take them," Niall volunteers, receiving a glare from Normani.

"Thank you," I said. I hand him the pancakes.

"Ally, you're going to starve yourself," Normani says.

"I will be fine," I reply. "I already ate a lot this morning. I'm still full." I hold onto my stomach to make her believe I was sincere.

She creases her brows looking at me. "Okay, Ally," she says.

I shift my eyes to Dinah, who keeps glancing back and forth between me and someone from the front table. Dinah leans down to my ear and whispers, "Ally, there's this cute guy that keeps staring at you."

My eyebrows furrows as I look at the front table she was observing. It took a moment, but I finally saw Liam staring at me. As soon as our eyes meet, he turns his head back down. His head? Oh, geez. I hope it's okay. I hope he's okay.
