I observe myself in the mirror, wearing my floral blouse and black shorts. I fix my hair into a messy bun and look at the clock in the bedroom. Dinah and Lauren were sitting on the bed and analyzing me.

"Ally," Lauren begins, "are you sure you want to go on this date?"

"Affirmative," I answer. I spin around and face the girls.

"What about that feeling you've been getting? Shouldn't that tell you enough?" Dinah asks.

I sigh and nod. "Yes, I know. I have been feeling like there's something odd about him. Like when he asked me out, in front of the crew and extras. He wouldn't do that, but maybe because he finally feels free from hiding our relationship that he had to let that out. I'm uncertain about it myself."

"Then don't go," Lauren says.

I cock my head and take a seat on the chair beside the mirror. "I want to go. I know that you and Louis are not on speaking terms, and Zayn has gone MIA, but I want to know if we can work like we used to."

"True," Lauren says. "I wonder where Zayn is. Like what seriously happened over here. Liam's acting strange. Zayn's gone. And that two-face jerk cheated on me. Maybe that's just the guys we thought we knew. Once they left our territory and enter their own, they return to their own regular selves."

"Say whatever you want, Lauren," I said. "I don't know what really went on, and I think it's for the best. If God wants us to know, then in time, we will know."

Dinah sighs heavily. Her eyes lower wondrously. "Dinah?" I question.

She raises her eyes and says, "What if something comes in between me and Harry?"

"What?" Lauren states. She scoots closer to Dinah and wraps her arm around her shoulder. "Why would you think that?"

"Because Zayn and Camila, you guys, and Niall and Normani are fighting," Dinah explains. "What if I'm next? I mean, there's got to be something about Harry or me that will tear us apart?"

"Dinah, don't think that way," I said. I scoot the chair closer to where I can grasp her hand. "You and Harry have nothing to worry about. Don't even worry. As long as you two communicate your problems, you and him will be together."

She smiles and nods her head. "I guess, I shouldn't worry as much."

Lauren speaks up, "And Niall and Normani are just bickering like all parents do. Who's doing the feeding? Who's changing diapers?" Lauren mocks. She shrugs and adds, "Every first parents have those problems."

I look at my phone screen and jump when I see it almost at 7:00. I scoot back and push the chair back in the desk. "I will see you guys at nine. Maybe ten."

"Have fun, but not too much fun," Dinah says.

I sling my purse around my arm and exit the room. I walk down the hallway and ride the elevator down to the lobby. I skip through the counter and exit the building. Beside the sidewalk, I see Liam in his car, watching the time and waiting on me. I tap on the glass, and he flinches out of his seat. I couldn't help but smile a little. He looks at me and gestures for me to enter. I pull on the handle and step inside the vehicle.

"Sorry if I had scared you," I said, buckling up.

"No, you're fine," he says.

"Where are we going?" I ask.

"To a cafe," he answers, and I find that somewhat odd. He usually never gives up our location when we are on a date, but I shrug it off.

He shifts the gear into drive and turns the wheels into the road. There was a silence, and I wanted to turn on the radio, but I didn't know if he would mind. I fidget with my hands in the meantime until we arrive to our destination faster than I thought.
