"Rise and shine," Liam announces. I open one of my eyes and see the lens of video camera almost in my face. I moan and hear him chuckle. "Come on, sweetheart. We have to get up and get ready for our hike."

My eyes open, and our eyes connect. "Morning," he greets.

I smile at his presence. "Morning," I greet back, groggily.

I shield my eyes from the light coming from the windows and get a clearer vision of him leaning over the bed. I slowly rise out of bed. I walk into the bathroom as Liam talks to the camera. I use the bathroom and wash my face. Once I got out, I see Liam recording the beautiful view of the water reflecting the bright sun. He turns around, probably because of my presence, and seems to be zooming in on me. I cover my face, to make sure he didn't get a closeup view.

"Don't zoom in," I mumble. "I'm not dress yet."

"I want to capture your morning look," he replies. "It's a beautiful start to the day."

I peek through my fingers and see him still recording. I uncover my face, giving up. "Well, I need to change if we're going to go on this hike."

He pouts, warming my heart by his cuteness. "Okay," he says, shutting the screen. "I'm going down to the kitchen. When you're done, meet me there." I nod.

He walks pass me and exits the room. I grab my suitcase and toss it on the bed. I unzip and grab a new set of clothes. I walk into the bathroom once more and slide into a mint floral top and my black shorts. I ran my fingers through my hair and shake off the tangles. I debated whether or not I should tie my hair into a ponytail. After some quick thinking, I decided to let my hair down. I slip a hair tie around my wrist, just in case.

I head out of the bathroom and the bedroom with my phone in hand. I trot down the stairs and enter the kitchen. The smell of bacon flows through my nose, and I moan slightly. Liam was handling the frying pan with bacon. Multiple grunts escape his lips from the oil burning his skin.

I close my lips tight, trying not to chuckle. I straighten my posture and walk to him. "So, how's the kitchen, Mr. Payne?" I ask, standing beside him.

The oil pops onto his arm, and he releases another grunt. "Not so great," he says. He gestures his head for me to see the pan.

I cover my mouth, seeing the too-crisp bacon. "Oh my... that's okay," I assure him.

He shakes his head. "I never learned to cook. But I seen other people cook bacon, and it just seems so easy. I don't know what went wrong," he explains.

I observe the stove and examine the level of heat he turned the stove to. "You turn it too high. That's why these are too crispy. Here, let me do it. You can set the table up." He nods his head obediently and walks to the cabinet.

I fry a couple of bacon and scramble some eggs. In a couple of minutes, we sat down by the dining table and ate.

As we eat, my eyes observe the kitchen, looking at each detail carefully. The kitchen looked new and clean like it was just made. The counters were empty but smooth. I like the wooden texture of the floor. I would love to have a kitchen like this one day. And not just the kitchen. The living room, almost vacant, had something that attracted me to it.

I shift my eyes on Liam and smile as I observe him eat with a fork. "This is a very beautiful kitchen. And I like the living room," I said.

"I know, I do too," he says. "Would you consider having a kitchen like this in the future?"

I nod my head. "Yeah. Everything looks so nice and alluring. I like the lightness, and the attraction of the colors. Whoever buys this house is lucky. I can barely afford a phone card." I laugh, and he smiles at my small joke.
