"Liam!" My eyes shot open. My body rushes forward, and I sat up in my hotel bedroom. My head turns to the curtains, and I see a stream of light passing through the gap in the curtains.

Morning already?

My eyes lower, and I see my black dress from last night lying on the table. My eyebrows crease, wondering how that was lying there. How did I even get here? I don't remember coming back to the hotel room. I look at the other bed, the one Dinah and Lauren occupied. Well, Lauren is up already while Dinah is still sleeping.

I retrace my memory from the time we entered the party to the time Harry asked Dinah and me to dance...Louis! He was with a girl. And then Liam... "Liam," I whisper. His face was still very fresh in my mind. And he was right there in front of me. And I wasn't being delusional. He was real.

The bathroom door opens, and I quickly stand up and step on the floor. Lauren comes out, dress in a white dress. My eyebrows furrow curiously. "Lauren, why are you wearing that?"

"I'm going to meet Louis," she answers. "That was the whole point of me coming here."

Louis and the girl pops inside my head, and I open my mouth, wanting so badly to tell her, but I knew that she would either not believe me or be heartbroken. "Lauren, can I come?" I ask. "Just want to be there for your reunion if you don't mind."

Lauren creases her brows and crosses her arms. "Reunion? Do you just want to see Liam?"

My eyes widen, not even thinking about that. "Why? Do they live together?"

Lauren shrugs. "I don't know. But I couldn't believe what happened last night."

"What happened?"

Lauren sits down on the edge of the bed, and I sit on my bed on the edge as well. Lauren begins, "Okay, so after you fainted, you fell into Liam's arms, and he looked at you oddly. But he held you close, and before he could do anything, Harry ripped you out of his arms and gave Liam the dirtiest look."

"There wasn't a fight, was there?" I ask.

Lauren shakes her head. She replies, "No. Harry carried you to Ryder's car, and we went home, but not after Harry asked Dinah out on a date. She, of course, agreed happily."

"Well, I'm glad there was no fight," I said. "What part of that made it unbelievable?"

Lauren smiles, the one she uses when she wants to hide the truth. "Nothing," she says. "I thought something bizarre happened, but with me stating it out loud, it wasn't a big of a deal than I thought it was."

"You sure?" I question.

"You know, you should get ready if you want to come," Lauren says, and I nod as a response.

I grab a towel and walk into the bathroom. I remove the dress and unclip the necklace from my neck. I set it down gently on the counter and walk into the shower. I let the warm water fill my emptiness for the moment. There was nothing except Liam in my mind. It's been six months since I last saw him. What should I say if we meet again? If? It's like he's a stranger now. I didn't how to handle this. Or how I should confront him.

I step out of the closet and dry myself. I slip into a new set of clothes. I pick the necklace by the chains and gaze at the red gem glistening from the light. I hope it does me justice.

After a few more moments, I clip the necklace around my neck. I exit the bathroom and toss my clothes in a hamper. Lauren, standing in front of the door, smiles and asks, "Ready to go? I already wrote Dinah a note. She should wake up about an hour after we left, considering her date starts in two hours."
