Liam's POV
"Ally!" I exclaim, holding her fainted body in my arms. I shake her body a little, fearing for the worst. I slide my hand down to her wrist and feel her pulse still beating.
I sigh of relief and pull her body completely in my arms. I see something glistening on the ground and take moment and see she had dropped her phone. I bent down with her in my arms and grab the phone. I drop it in her purse.
Her over-heated face catches my attention. Sweat slides down her face. I press the back of my palm against her forehead and feel the heat. She needed to go to the hospital. I take her to my car and set her down in the front of the passenger seat. I lower her seat back and made sure she was comfortable.
I pull out my phone from my pocket and dial Louis' number. I press my phone against my ear and wait until he answers. "Hello, Louis?"
"Yes, mate," he replies.
"Don't come to the house, okay?" I told him.
"Why? Where are you?"
"I'm taking Ally to the hospital. She fainted, and I hope she's okay. If she is, I'm going to take her back to Simon's house," I specify.
"Okay," he responds. "I'm going over there as well."
"Okay, see you there," I said before I hanged up.
I shut the door and run back inside. Instantly, I was hit with the strong smell of alcohol I had consumed last night. I run up the stairs and see Rita in nothing but her bra and underwear. She laid down in bed still in a pose. I shake my head at her, disappointed, angry, and disgusted.
"Liam, get back in bed," she whines.
I glare at her as I walk to my dresser. I pull out a pair of jeans and slip them on.
"Baby, come on," Rita said, but I did not reply.
I grab my jacket off the hanger and put them on. I walk to the door, but Rita jumps out of bed and stands in front of me, pushing me back a little.
"No, not until you tell me where you are going," Rita says. I turn my eyes away from her, unable to look at her. Her eyes change, and she was more ticked off. "You're going after her?" She scoffs. "What makes her so special?"
"Everything about her is special," I said. "More special than you."
"What does that suppose to mean?" Rita questions.
"I should have never let you pay for that drink last night," I said.
She presses her hands on my shoulders. "Why? It finally gave us a night I was hoping for."
"Yeah, a night you were hoping for," I pointed. Her eyebrows furrow, furious. I continue. "Listen, even though I don't remember her, I would rather sleep with her and willingly than with you anyday."
I push her out of the way and trot down the stairs. I exit the house and get inside the car. I turn my head over and see Ally relaxing a bit more. I smile a little, but that smile faded from guilt.
I turn back to the front and turn on the engine. I back out of the driveway and drive into the street.
I couldn't help but think about yesterday. After I confronted Ally on words I couldn't take back, I grew curious and angry at myself. I wanted to toss everything and set everything on fire just so I can escape this lifetime and return to old time with her. If I was happy - if we were happy like Ally had anticipated - I would never leave her again. But everything changed.
