Ally's POV

I can feel my eyes heavy from the tears I shed last night. I can't believe Liam and I just got into our very first argument. I get that he is stress about our relationship, but I am too. I know he wants to get Simon to like him, or at least approve of him, but I don't need him to work for Simon to do it. There are many ways for Liam to woo Simon over. Maybe singing. Simon always adore talented vocalist, and I know Liam is a strong vocalist. Or maybe draw something. Liam is very artistic. Just anything is better than him working for him.

I can still remember Dinah's heartbreak from Trenton. She didn't get over him until it was a new year. I try to reason things out with Trenton, but it had seem like he had given up. He didn't seem to love Dinah anymore, and I never let Dinah know for this very reason.

I hear a knock on the door, and I rest cover myself with the sheets, not wanting to be bothered. The door opens, and I hear Dinah groaning. "Ally, wake up. It's time for school." I stay in my exact position until she pulls the sheets off, revealing my face to the bright room. "Why aren't you already up? And dress?"

"I'm just not in the mood to go to school," I claim, turning over to the side where my back faced Dinah.

Dinah nudges my shoulder, "Ally, this is so unlike you. Tell me. What's been bothering my Allygator?"

I sigh heavily, giving in to tell her. I lay on my back and open my mouth, "Liam and I got into a fight."

Her jaw drops as she gasps. "What?! How? Where? When? Why?"

"I'll tell you," I begin, "but please remain calm. I don't need everyone to hear this." She nods her head and sits straight up. "Liam is helping Simon out, so he can try to win him over."

Dinah's eyebrows crease. "What's the problem with that? Isn't that a good thing?"

"It is, but..." I look at her straight in the eyes, reminding her of her ex lover.

Dinah's eyes widen as an "Oh," escapes her lips. She lowers her head a little.

"I'm sorry, Dinah. I don't want to open up old wounds, but I need you to understand why I don't Liam to help Simon," I said.

She nods her head with a smile. "Okay, go on,"

I swallow the lump that was forming in my throat. "Well, I inform Liam why he shouldn't and tell him to win him over by doing something else. But he questioned on how he could possibly do that when our relationship is secret. He didn't want to hide anymore, and neither did I. But he was being a jerk about it."

Dinah bats her a little, tilting her head. "Wait. Wait. He wanted to tell dad?" I nod my head as a response. "Well, he's no Trenton. I had to drag Trenton to tell him. Listen, I don't think you and Liam are any sort of trouble. Liam is not a Trenton. He's much more of a man than a Trenton will ever be."

"What do you think I should do?" I ask, feeling my fingertips freezing.

"Beats me, but first and for most, apologize," she says. I smile and nod my head. I bring myself up and hug Dinah tightly before we pull apart.

"Now go get dress," Dinah says. I groan and uncover the sheets. I head into the bathroom and got change.
...
I run through the student center, hoping to find Liam there. My eyes search every corner and skim through each open area. He was not in sight. I rush to the other side. I push the door open, not realizing there was somebody behind the door.

My eyes widen, and I slowly peek my head out the door. My mind is shook when I saw Liam, carrying another load of cardboard boxes. "Oh, my gosh, I'm so sorry," I cover my mouth as I spoke.
