I look out my window and see him getting ready for school. I wasn't stalking him. I just wanted to find when it was the right time to give him his jacket. And I was curious to see if he had any more. He probably does.

He does. He slides into another jacket and grabs his backpack from his bed before leaving his room. I assume he was exiting his house, so I quickly put on my jacket and backpack and grab the bag I placed his jacket in. I hurried out the door, making sure I didn't get in nobody's way. Just as I came out, I see their car driving off.

So much for hurrying...

I guess I can do it after school or some other time during school. I walk back inside, where I see everyone's eyes on me in the kitchen. "Sorry, I thought I saw something," I said.

"What? A Waffle House?" Lauren teased.

Simon takes a seat at the table, setting his cup down and newspaper. "Ally, please join me. I have something important to talk to you about. Everyone please leave. This will only take five minutes."

Oh, no. Did he find out?

I widen my eyes at that possibility. I mean, what else does he need to talk to me about?

He taps his fingers on the table, telling me to come. I take the empty chair in front of him and sat down in it.

"Ally, I would like to apologize for being harsh on you the other day," he begins, easing my worries. "I know I was being a little dramatic, but it's true. I expect a lot from you. And you're the most mature and responsible one. I never thought you would break my rules."

"I'm sorry I disappointed you," I said.

"You didn't disappoint me," he states. "It's just me. I know you girls except Sofia are all grown ups, but I always need to make sure you girls are in good health, especially you, Ally."

"What do you mean?" I question.

"If it comes to it, one day, I will tell you, but I really hope it doesn't," he says. I crease my eyebrows. What would it be that he won't tell me? "You girls should start going. Please, don't do anything upsetting or wrong."

I nod my head. Lauren, Niall, Normani, Camila, and Dinah enter the room again. Once we all were settled, we got into two separate cars. Lauren, Dinah, and Camila took one car while Normani, Niall, and I took another. There's only one car left for Sofia.

I place the bag in the backseat and got behind the wheels. I adjust my seat and the rear view mirror. Normani sat next by me while Niall took the backseat. I started the engine, and soon, we enter the road.

After a few seconds, I hear my bag moving. I look through the rear view mirror and see Niall looking into it. "Niall!" I exclaim, which caused him to shriek. Normani chuckles at his reaction.

"What?! What?!" He questions, facing the front.

"Don't touch that," I said. "It's a present."

"For who?" Niall asks.

"For my friend," I answer.

"Liam?" Niall questions. Normani awed, slapping me on the arm.

"Mani, I'm driving here," I tell her, setting my eyes on her and then back at the road.

"Ooh, so who is he?" Normani questions.

"He is a friend," I answer.

"A friend or a friend friend?" Normani questions.

I shrug, "He's..." I begin but lost what I was going to say. I proceeded to answer her question. "We're just friends," I finish.

"I don't like him," Niall states.
