Liam drives through the dirt road, where our destination is close by. The car jumps from the bumpy roads. I look out the window, seeing the beautiful trees in my sight. Nature and its beauty. The different shades of green fill my eyes. The radio swirls through my mind, and I think I am in heaven. I close my eyes, feeling the peaceful music and the pleasant images flash in my mind. The trees. A lake. The water shimmering. Peace.

The dying of the engine cuts me off of my imagination. I open my eyes and shift to see Liam unbuckling his seatbelt. I shift my eyes through the front windshield, and in a couple feet lies a lake house. A ramp adjoins the porch. From the first glance, my stomach gains butterflies. I don't know what it was, but I find there to be an attraction.

I unfasten my seatbelt and exit the car. Liam unlocks the back trunk, and the two of us grab our belongings. Liam grunts as he shuts the door. His hand holds the handle to his suitcase while the other holds a video camera. A strap held his hand together with it. I hear a small beep, and he begins to speak, "Hello, there, beautiful." He angles the camera at me.

I cock my head and reply, "What are you doing?"

"I'm recording," he answers boldly. "Just for the sake of memories."

I give him testy eyes before I break into laughter. I tick my tongue and scoffs. In an diva accent, I spoke, "Well, then, come follow meh! We're going into the lake house, yeah." I chuckle in between, not being able to tolerate my own character. A chuckle escapes Liam's lips as well.

"Let's go then," he says.

I nod my head and gesture my hand for the camera to follow me. "Let me show you the way," I speak.

I stroll my suitcase up the ramp and enter the porch. I release my hold on the handle and reach my hand for the knob before Liam cuts me off. "Wait. Let me unlock it first." Liam sets the camera down on the flat rail in front of us with its lens facing us.

He digs into his pocket and gets out the keys. He injects the key into the hole and turns it, unlocking the door. I said, "I am curious to see what the house looks like."

"I guess we'll see," he says.

"And nobody else is here?" I question.

Liam nods his head. "Just you and me."

I didn't know how I feel about that, but I didn't think about it much. I reach my hand for the door knob until Liam suddenly sweeps me into his arms, carrying me bridal style. I grasp the back of his neck for support and lets out a breath. "Liam, what are you doing?" I question. "Let me down."

I raise my eyes on him and see him smirking. He replies, "Consider this what you owe me." He winks, and automatically, I feel my cheeks burning.

"Liam," I whine.

He adjusts me in his arms and opens the door. I cave in and lock my fingers behind his neck as he leads the both of us inside. Chills vibrate in my veins. The heat hits my face as our eyes meet. Butterflies expand in my stomach. In a few moment, just a few, he sets me down on my feet, forcing me to break my hands off. A smile plastered on his face as he turns around and grabs his suitcase, my suitcase, and the video camera.

The entrance led us to the living room. I observe the couches and the tv hanged on the wall. A fireplace was in the corner of the room. The living room adjoins the kitchen, and I shift myself in that room. The dining table was circular and a couple feet away from the counter.

"Sweetheart, do you mind holding the camera?" Liam asks. I turn around and see him in the living room by a couch, struggling with the suitcases. He loosens the camera in his hands as he continues to record.
