I look out window, seeing Liam's room. His lights were on, same as mine. And he was present in the room. He was typing on his laptop in front of the window while I was sitting in bed with the sheets covering my waist and legs. My head was against the headboard. My window was close, but his was open, so I could see, but he couldn't see me unless he really try.

I have no idea why I am being such a stalker. I shouldn't be doing this. The more I see him, the more feelings I have. What is happening to me?

Turn away, Allyson. Turn away.

I shift my eyes to the person who entered my room. It was Normani. I smile and greet, "Hi, Mani."

"Hey, Ally," Mani greets back. She takes a seat on my bed. "How is your back?"

"Better," I answer. "I just wish it would stop stinging every once in a while."

"Give it time," she says, holding my hand. "I have to tell you something." Her smile widens. It seems something has lighten her mood.

"What?" I ask.

"Okay," Normani said, getting all hyped. "Don't tell this to the girls yet, but I like someone."

"Ooh," I said. "Who is it? Wait, wait. Is it Brian? No, no, Louis. Wait. Taylor—"

"Ally," Normani said, squeezing my hand a little. "It's...um, Niall."

I widen my eyes, astounded and happy. "Wow," I said. "You and Niall. Ooh, la la. How long have you liked him?"

Normani shrugs, smiling to the empty space. "I don't know when," she explains, "I guess, it just happened because we tease each other all of the time. And I feel sometimes that he might like me too. I guess, he just got under my skin."

"Are you going to tell him?" I ask.

Normani widens her eyes, shaking her head. "No, why would I?" she questions.

"Mani, come on, don't be one of those people who just bottles everything up, especially when no one is stopping you," I said. "Go. Who knows? You guys might end up being the next power couple."

"Ally, you're expecting too much," she says.

"Well, I can't really do anything," I said. "It sucks that you can't talk to him, let alone see him." My eyes glance back to the window. I see him starting to get up from his seat. Normani looks through the window as well as soon as he left the window. Good thing.

"What are you staring at?" Normani asks. "And what are you talking about? Talking, let alone, seeing?" She points her finger at me.

I shake my head. "Nothing. Nothing. I'm just rambling on," I reply.

She gasps, covering her mouth. "I remember," she begins, "Liam wants to talk to you."

"Why?" I ask.

She shrugs. "I don't know," she answers. "Probably because you've been ignoring him. Why have you been ignoring him?"

I groan, shaking my head. "Don't get me started," I said.

She stands up from my bed and holds out her hand. "Well, it's my turn to take you out for your daily walk." I uncover my sheets and take her hand. I cautiously got out of bed and put on my sandals. I place my hands on her arm, and she leads me out the room, down the stairs and out the house.

I slowly consume the fresh air of nature. The sun wasn't shining much as the clouds were covering it. It looked more like it was going to rain. There were still some cold breezes from time to time.
