This is the last part of Chapter 36.
Liam's POV
I groan, feeling someone nudging on my shoulder. I open my eyes slowly and see Sonia standing and looking at me. I wipe my eyes, remembering what happened before I knocked out on the couch.
"Get up, Liam," Sonia whispers. "It's midnight. And take Ally up to your room. It's snowing outside, and I'm not sure if she can go home."
I nod my slowly, and she leaves. I lift myself up, but I remember Ally. Her arms wrapped around my torso as her head rested on my chest. I remove the blanket warming the both of us to the side and lift her head and transition her head onto my arm. I remove the locks of hair covering her face and sweep my other arm under her legs. I lift the both of us from the couch and carry her bridal style upstairs.
As I reach my room, I hear Zayn's door closing. Camila and Sofia must be sleeping in his room.
I face the bedroom door and turn the knob. I enter my room, and before I settle Ally down, I uncover the sheets. I rest her on the right side of my bed and fix the sheets over her. I made sure she wasn't cold and hot.
I turn around and close the door. I grab a pillow on the bed and set it on the floor, beside the bed - where I will be sleeping for the night. I walk to the closet and search until I found a heavy dress coat and a regular coat. I unravel them from their hangers and went to my resting spot. I bent down to the floor and sweep any dust. I laid out the dress coat as a mattress. After fluffing the pillow, I rest my head on it and close my eyes once I fix the other coat around me.
This wasn't the most comfortable, but I've dealt with worse. Sleeping outside in the rain doesn't necessarily make this a challenge, especially since it was raining that night. But fortunately, my grandmother helped me out that night.
One time, my dad and I got into a fight. He wanted me to go to some high university in London, but I didn't want to. I wanted something else, and when I told him, he flipped out and demanded me to sleep outside. I went to the porch with nothing. No blanket. No pillow. Just me and the clothes I had on. Rain came, and at first, it was sprinkling but then came like a hurricane. I shiver to the coldness. I thought I was really in for it when I heard thunder, but my grandma put a roof over my head, literally, and a blanket to keep me warm. I could never forgive what she did for me. I love her.
Suddenly, I begin to hear heavy breaths coming from Ally. I remove the coat and stand up. I turn to Ally and sit on the edge of the bed. She was moaning like she was in pain. I feel her forehead with the back of my palm, hoping she wasn't sick. The average warmth assures me that she wasn't. Instead, her forehead was damp from sweating.
"Ally," I whisper. I shake her arm a little, hoping she would wake up, but she didn't.
"N-n-no," Ally says. She holds her arms tightly, gripping her nails into her skin.
My eyes widen, knowing what she can be capable of. I cover her hands with mine and try to take her hands off her arms, but I only receive a loud grunt of Ally and her saying, "Let me go! I want to stay with her..."
I ignore her words and continue to remove her hands. As much as we both struggled, I finally manage to take her hands off, and before she can get the chance to do anything, I intertwine our hands. However, she was fighting to remove her hands from mine by swaying them back and forth vigorously.
I release her hands and quickly acted. I grab her arms and pull her in. I wrap my hands around her tightly as I feel her fist hitting me in the chest. I push myself back to the headboard and rest my head against it. I continue to tighten my grip around her.
