I've put songs in chapters, and I try to pick songs that match what happens in the chapter or the feeling of a character. In this chapter, it's "Don't Forget" by Demi Lovato. I thought this song really represents what Ally's feeling in this chapter. Read the story and then take a listen, or vice versa.

I enter Sonia's house and walk into the kitchen. Liam stands up from his seat and excuses himself. He takes my hand and leads me up to his room. I laid his present by, I assume, my present he got me. He closes door shut.

"Okay," I begin with a smile. "How should we do this?"

"It's up to you," he says.

"Okay, let's switch and then our back to face one another," I said. "I'm not the best when it comes to picking out gifts, but I hope you like what I bought." I hand him my present for him, and he hands me his present for me.

After a count to three, we turn around and begin ripping the wrapping paper off. As I start to unravel the paper, I start seeing some clues of what it might. Once I was done, I admire the box that had an image of weird looking speaker/lamp. I like it. However, the wording on the box made me puzzled.

Liam and I turn around at the same time, and I express my surprise. "Thank you, Liam, but I'm confuse on what the box says," I said.

"It means that the lamp gives off a sweet smelling scent, and it has Bluetooth and some songs of its own to help you sleep at night," he explains.

"Oh," I comment, looking at the box differently. "How much was this?"

"At least five hundred dollars, but it's worth it," I said.

My eyes widen. "This is too much, Liam. I can't accept it," she says.

He sighs. "Yes, you can. I bought it for you. So it belongs to you."

I decided not to fight with it and nodded with a small smile. I look at the present I got him and hope he liked it at least. "Well, do you like my present?" I ask.

"Very much," He said with a smile. "I've always wanted one of these, but never had the time to buy one."

He opens the box and grabs the wristwatch.

I take a step closer. "Here, let me put it on you," I offer. He hands me the wristwatch, and I wrap the watch around his wrist after. I clip the watch and hoped it wasn't too tight or too loose. "There you go," I said softly.

I raise my eyes, and our eyes meet. Chills run through me by just the way he looked at me, and I couldn't tell what it was. Maybe it was the holidays, but I'm feeling joyful with him.

"What?" I ask, widening my smiling afterwards.

I remove my hand from his wrist, but he leans down to my height and kisses me on the lips. I flinch, off guard, but I melt into his lips. He lifts his hands onto my back and gently presses them against my skin. I feel multiple sparks hit the two of us. A soft moan escapes my lips, and he parts our lips.

I blink a couple of times, taking in what just happened. I smile once more, and she asks, "What was that for?"

"Just a reminder," he answers. I gave him testy eyes for a moment, wondering what he was up to.

"Okay, be careful," Camila warns me as she and Zayn help me walk up the stairs at the lake house. They led me into my room and set me down on the made bed, covering me with the sheets. I pant softly, feeling more tired out than usual.
