It's been a week since I've been home. The hospital wasn't boring, but it wasn't fun. I just didn't have Ally to take care of me, but I'm glad she's getting better. We hardly got to see each other because of Simon, Niall, and the doctors, so we mainly text or FaceTime one another during the day, even when I returned home. I wasn't okay with our relationship being low key, but I'll do whatever I can to keep Ally happy.

Jade and Jesy hopefully learn their lesson. I spoke to them a few days ago at school when I encountered them in the hallway. They seemed like they were scarred for life. I walked up to them and asked if they were okay.

Jade replied, "Y-yes, Liam. We're fine. Perfectly fine." She begins to bite on her nails.

Jesy giggled horrendously as she batted her eyes. "Yeah," she nodded her head. "Why wouldn't we be? We just almost killed you and Ally. That's it. No big deal."

"Jesy," I began, "you don't sound fine."

"She's always like this," Jade said. "But how are you and Ally? Is she alright? I've been wanting to see her, but I'm scared I might harm her."

I creases my brow, not knowing what she meant by that. "What are you saying, Jade?" I questioned.

Jade ran her fingers through her hair and answered, "I've been trying to make peace with Ally, but every time I try, I keep harming her. It's been a habit of mine for so long. I can only see her as the person who stole my love away from me."

"You know very well that Ally had no part in that," I stated.

"I do, I do," she said. "Just...when she gets out of the hospital, please tell her that I want to speak to her."

I widened my eyes, realizing the bags under their eyes. "Are you guys okay? You guys seem to be exhausted."

Jade nodded her head with a small smile. "Yeah, just, too much stuff going at the police station. I'm sure everything will end soon."

"I'm sure," I repeated. After that we parted our ways. It was a weird conversation. Jesy seemed like she had lost her mind while Jade seemed to be more quiet by the second. I guess karma really got to them, and I pity them already. They didn't deserve it this much.

I shift my eyes the letter I received from my grandmother a few weeks ago. I forgot about it until I dug into my desk and found it there. I guess Sonia must have placed it there or Zayn or Louis. Her scent is still present in the letter. I tore it open and toss the envelope on the table and rest in the chair while I unravel the paper. In a few seconds, I begin to read:

Dear my sweet Liam, I hope you had a beautiful time there in the USA. I have talked to your parents about your next school year, and they agreed to let you stay. I'm so happy for you. I hope you visit me too. I miss you dearly. And I want to see my granddaughter-in-law. I know your parents already settled you in for one, but I'm sure they are going to change their minds once they see how sweet your Allyson is. From your letters, I feel like I already know her personally. Anyways, all of the money you sent back to me, I will be keeping them for you, so one day, when you need it, you can get it from me. I love you so much. Grandma.

I lift my eyes and smile. I hope that's true. I hope my parents will accept Ally. She's the most peaceful and kind-hearted woman I've ever met and fell in love with.

Suddenly, my phone rings, and I look at the caller ID. A smile appears on my lips. Speaking of the angel... "Hi," I greet happily.

She chuckles on the other side. "Hi, why do you sound so cheerful?"

"Oh, why can't I?" I ask. "Maybe I'm just glad to hear your voice. Haven't heard it in two days?"

"Two days?" She questions. "It's only been two days, and you already missed me."
