Niall was ring tossing for a teddy bear. He gave the money to the staff and begins tossing each ring. Normani cheers him on.
I decided to toss some rings myself. I hand the staff my money, and he hands me five rings. Ally stood beside me with a smile. I lean down to her ear and whisper, "I will get you whatever you want."
"You don't have to," she whispers back, tapping my arm. "I just wish you the most luck."
"Thank you," I said.
I look forward and pick up a ring. I aim carefully and toss the ring out of my hands. The ring hits the top of a bottle but bounces off. I groan.
"You can do it," Ally assures me.
I look at her and smile. I try once more. I toss another ring, and it skims off the top of the bottle. I groan once more, slapping my hands on the table.
"Just focus," Ally says, patting my back.
I slowly breathe in and toss the ring once more. And another one. And another one. All had the same results. The rings bounce off the bottles.
I turn over and hear a loud cheer coming from Normani. Niall has made three out of the five rings.
The staff asks, "You can choose anything from the top." He gestures to what was hanging on the top shelf behind him.
"Blue teddy bear," Niall responds.
The staffs takes the blue teddy bear off the shelf and hands it to Niall. Niall turns to Ally and hands it to her. I clear my throat, catching his attention.
"Is there a problem?" Niall asks.
I glance at Ally, whose eyes were staring at me. I clench my fist and put on a smile. "No, I'm just bum I'm not making any scores," I respond.
My eyes meet Ally's once more, but I turn away, hearing the sound of Niall's voice.
"This is for you," Niall says.
"Thank you, Niall," Ally says. "But you should give this to Normani. She's the one that's been cheering for you."
"I'm giving this one to you, and I will get Normani a bigger one," Niall replies.
I shake my head. Anyone who has a mind will know that that was an excuse.
I turn to the staff. "Ten rings please," I said. I handed him the money.
"Ten also," Niall says.
I proceed to toss each ring carefully, and to my luck, the first five ring has landed around the bottle. I turn to Ally, holding another ring on my hand. "I will get you a better teddy bear," I respond.
Ally shakes her head, disapprovingly. She whispers, "You don't have to be jealous—"
"What? I'm not-I'm not jealous," I reply.
"Liam?" she gives me a stern look.
"I'm not," I raise my hands up in defense.
I turn to the bottle, but before I can toss it, I hear loud laugh from Normani. "Good job, bae," Normani says.
I turn to them and found out Niall made ten rings fall onto the bottles in a row. My eyebrows furrow. He must be cheating. That's the only way.
The staff hands Niall a big brown teddy bear. Niall hands it to Normani. He turns around and looks at Ally with warm eyes.
"Ally, we are going to go eat," Niall says. "Want to come?"
"No thank you," Ally replies.
"You sure?"
