Chapter 98 - Glass Of Champagne

I decided to make a valentines day special so enjoy these next few chapters

Imogen's POV

"Thank you, Iz for looking after the boys," I say giving my sister a hug "It's no problem, Gen, I love hanging out with them" She smiles and holds my hand "I better get going, but if anything is wrong with them, call me!" I say walking out the door "Ok, Ok, I Will!" Iz said before I could open the car door "You promise" I turned around "Yes! Now go have fun!" I laughed and got into the car. "Joe, I'm home!" I yell as I open the door and throwing the car keys onto the table "I'm In here!"  I hear Joe scream from the living room. "Hello" I leaned down to where he was sitting a kissed him "How was your day?" He asks me as sitting down on the couch "I could say it was good, working as a teacher can be so stressful and then bring the kids to work some days just make it worse" I fell back on the couch "I'm sorry" "For what?" I ask him, as I got up and sat next to him "that you're going through a rough time." I grab his hand "It's ok! what's life without some ups and downs. Right?" I sat on top of his lap "Right" he smiled and gave him a kiss "You remember that we're going out tonight? he asks and pushes some of my hair out of my face "Yes I remember why do you think I left the kids with Iz" I laughed and gave him a kiss before getting off him "I'm going to get ready" I gave him one last kiss before going upstairs. My timer went off 3 minutes has gone by, I was nervous but I was ready for the disappointment, I turn the test over "Oh My God!" I said to myself "I'm Pregnant!?" I put a hand to my mouth and I started crying, Joe and I have been trying for at least for about 4, 5 months and when I decided to take a pregnancy test for the first time, it turns out I'm pregnant. "Gen are you ready?" I heard Joe at the door "Almost" I say standing in front of the mirror "Can I come in?" "If you want" I reply and he walks in and walks up to me, wrapping his arms around my waist and rest his chin on my shoulder "You look nice" I Look at our reflection in the mirror and I smiled "Thank you. Can you Help me put this on?" I asked and he nodded taking the necklace from me, I lifted up my hair and he clipped the necklace at the back "Thank you" I gave him a kiss on his cheek "I'm ready now" I smiled and he grabbed my hand. We were walking to the restaurant hand in hand, it was certinaly nice weather outside and both of us were happy as ever. "Table for two," Joe said when we got to the restaurant, the man took us to the table and we took our seats "Can I get you anything to drink?" the waiter asks "Can I get a glass of red wine and the lady will have a glass of champagne" the waiter nodded but before he could walk off I stopped him "I don't want the champagne a glass of cola will do" He nodded and smiled then walked away "Coke?" Joe asked me and I nodded "Champagne, is your favourite?" Joe said "It is but I'm just not in the mood today" I grabbed his hand and smiled. the waiter came back with our drinks and we ordered our food "Joe I need to tell you something" His eyes went wide and he grabbed both my hands "Sure. anything. is everything ok?" I nodded and bit my lip "its good new, calm down" I laughed and I could feel him relax, I let go of his hands and I reached into my purse and pulled out a small box and handed it to him, he looked surprised "What's this?" he asked taking the box out of my hand "A small valentines day gift" he smiled and gave me a kiss and started opening it, I started feeling butterflies and I could start to feel my heart racing, he finally opens it, he picked up the pregnancy test and looks at it "Gen?" I smile "Yeah?" He looks up at me "is this a joke" I shook my head and smiled and wiped away a small tear of happiness "So your really pregnant?!" He smiles and I nod again, he gets out of his seat and comes over to me and gives me the biggest hug "When did you find out?" He looked at the test again "When I was getting ready upstairs" I laughed and he gave me a kiss "See, we didn't give up and now look. were going to have another baby" Joe said while he was stroking my cheek "explains why you didn't want the alcohol" we both laugh and he sits back down and then the food arrived. We were walking back home now and we both could contain our happiness "Argh my feet hurt" I whine from walking high heels and without any notice Joe picks me up bridal style "Joe! What are you doing!" I could help but laugh "If my Pregnant wife's feet hurt I'm not going to let her walk" I laugh and gave his cheek a kiss "Thank you, my prince" He smiles and I give him another kiss on his cheek. We got the car and Joe Put my inside and then he got into the driver's seat "thank you for today, my love" I hold his hand as he starts the car "No Problem my love, but your news made my dad even better!" I Laughed and leant against the window "We have to do this more often" I say and Joe laughs "We sure do" He starts to back out of the parking lot "Are we going to go pick up the boys?" He asks as he starts driving "Nope, i want some more alone time with you" I smile at him and he also smiles "I like the sound of that" I gave him a kiss on his cheek "I love you" I say "I love you more!" he grabs my hands and then kisses it...
