It's moving day.
My brother and Annabeth, at the age of 32, married, with two kids, are finally moving out of the Big House at Camp Halfblood, where they have served as instructors, and my ‘mom’ and ‘dad’ since they were seventeen.
Zeus finally agreed to put a blessing on them, one which would cover them in a veil of fine mist, hiding them from all monsters, so they could live in the mortal world, with their eight year old son and five year old daughter.
Though he would not agree, even after much persuasion, to allow me the same blessing.
He believes that at the age of fifteen, I am of too much use to him, and must continue with my training at Camp Halfblood. Where I have lived all my life.
I only leave the camp, to visit the mortal world, once a year. And that is the meet up with my step-dad Paul, my brother Percy and his wife Annabeth. So that we can all visit my mom's grave.
I never knew my mom, I was only a baby when she crashed the car, and ended up getting serious brain damage.
She got amnesia, but they thought that that was it. Up until three years later, when I was only three, the brain tumour came back, worse than ever. She went into a coma, and never woke up.
Percy and Annabeth acted as my mom and dad, and now they're leaving.
So why do I feel so... Relieved?
