Zöe:
Danny stood and frowned, walking towards the entrance of the cave.
Selena was immediately on her feet, following him. She reached him and grabbed his arm, yanking him back. “What do you think you're doing?” She hissed. “You have no idea what's lurking inside that cave. Are you trying to get us all killed?”
He turned back with one eyebrow raised. “And? I thought demigods weren't scared of anything.”
Damien scoffed. “Of course.” He muttered sarcastically. “But we're not stupid.” He rolled his eyes. “Look, we know where Charlie is, I say we just keep waking, AROUND the cave. We haven't got time to loose.”
He looked at me, as if asking for approval. And I nodded, taking his hand.
Selena fake-gagged at the hand holding, while Danny just stood there- shaking his head.
“Do whatever you want. But I have a weird feeling about this place, and I need to go check it out.”
Selena shot him a stern look. “No way.”
He rolled his eyes, and was about to reply when his eyes widened and his jaw dropped open.
We all turned to where he was looking, but I frowned when there was nothing there.
And then I realised.
I whipped my neck around so fast that it gave me whiplash.
But I was too slow.
Danny was already sprinting into the cave.
Selena made an impatient sound in the back of her throat. Cursed in Ancient Greek, muttered something about boys and ran after him. “For Hades sake...” Damien muttered, as we stood up and followed pursuit.
