Chapter 10

Itachi was spending the night in an inn with Kisame to get ready for their next mission tomorrow. The Uchiha was sitting alone in his room on the bed, holding the bottle of pills you gave him, after he took one of them. The effect of it is enormous, it's been only five days since he started using the medecine and he is already feeling great, not to talk about the eyedrops he got from you, at first he thought using them will be just a waist of time, but after trying them out a few times, his vision had improved.
He sighed and put the pills beside him and closed his eyes, he found himself thinking of [name] again, her gentle smile, her kindness...he wanted to see her again.
"[name] Uchiha...", he muttered your name, only a soft whisper, as he thought of you more...

It's time to leave, you have packed everything you need while lady Noriko was downstairs. You walked down the staircase and there you found her waiting for you with a smile.
"Is everything ready my dear?", she asked as you nodded excitedly then said:"yes, I can't wait to began my journey".
She smiled again and nodded then said:"you should know I'm glad that you keep improving your skills. Be careful and take care of yourself", she said placing her hand on your cheek with a gentle smile.
"Alright my lady, I will be back soon, I promise. Until then...I will miss you so much", you said with some tears in your eyes as you hugged her.
"Be strong", you nodded at her, and with this you left the house and headed toward the gate of the village, where you were supposed to meet up with the group of the traders you were supposed to travel with, while she stayed at home and looked at your bracelet in her hand, hoping you'd be back soon and safe...

You have been walking for a while now, yet you're still way too far from your destination. Being at the leaf would take you days, and here you are still at the beguining of the journey. It was a good thing the group you have been traveling with has some sense of humor, they kept talking and bringing out stories and jokes as you enjoyed their talk, and since you are known to them as their young and nice medic, they made sure to make you feel comfortable and feel at ease with.

A couple of days had passed.

It was night, you've been sharing a tent with another woman who has been traveling too. You woke up some time before dawn and couldn't get back to sleep again, after thinking for a little bit, you decided to go walk around for a while until the others wake up as well.

You have been just walking around not too distant from the group's camp when you heard a sound in some nearby bushes. You thought it was just a small animal since there was no growling or howling. You didn't care much and turned around, you were just about to leave and head back to your tent when someone grabbed you from behind, placing their hand on your mouth to prevent you from asking for help, while holding your hands behind your back. You were terrified, you tried to scream or free yourself but you couldn't, they were way stronger than you, still you didn't give up easily and kept resisting, and that's when the guy hit the back of your head causing you to lose your balance as you felt dizzy and weak, and then you fell to the ground, almost unconscious.

"Stupid, trying to resist me was so foolish of you...", the guy muttered in a rough voice and a chuckle, getting closer go you. Just about to lay his fingers on you, something hit him suddenly causing him to fall to the ground, not making any move or sound.
You felt someone lifting your head off the ground, you hardly managed to open your eyes one last time and see who this is before going completely unconscious. You looked with half opened eyes at the person holding you, he seemed familiar, but because it was still a bit dark, and because of your blurry vision, you couldn't figure out who is he or she exactly, all you could see something metallic shining a little around their neck in the darkness, a few moments later, everything blacked out as you fell completely unconscious in the hands of this stranger.

"[name]! [name] wake up!", you stirred, before then  slowly opening your eyes feeling a bit dizzy, with some pain in the back of your head. You looked around to see your partner in the tent looking at you holding some water in her hand for you to drink.
"Sorry for waking you up but we need to start walking again, everyone is waiting for you", she said with a small smile as you thanked her and drank the water, feeling a bit refreshed.
"Sorry about that..", you muttered, looking around seeing that you're back to your tent and your place, was it just a dream? Of course not, you remember everything and the pain in your head is real. You have been attacked, but someone who is kind enough seemed to save you and bring you back before your group of travelers wake up, if the person didn't interfere in the right time, things would have been so bad for you...
You got up and fixed your clothes and got ready, then joined the others and started walking again, still thinking of what had happened and paying more attention to your surroundings.
