Chapter 12

"It's morning already...", you muttered, looking at the outside through the window, seeing that the sun was about to rise. You sat on the edge of your bed and stretched your arms, then stood up and walked to the bathroom taking a quick shower. You walked out of it then put on some clothes and headed to the small kitchen making some quick breakfast before getting back to your room to get ready for the day.

It was the first day of your journey in the hidden leaf village. You were too excited for it, it was a good thing you met those two guys yesterday, Naruto and Kakashi, they made things quite easy for you to settle down quickly and here you are already gonna start in just one day after your arrival.
After making sure the door is locked, you left your place and headed to Konoha's hospital where you were supposed to meet up with Shizune.

"Good morning guys!", Sakura greeted Kakashi and Naruto as she joined them to go on their mission, the two had been waiting for her near the gate of the village.
"Good morning", they both replied, more excitement clear in Naruto's  voice, then they started walking all together away, when Naruto grinned widely then said:"by the way Sakura, have you heard of the new girl who came to the village yesterday?"
"A new girl? No, who is she?", Sakura asked looking at Naruto.
"Oh, she is gonna be working at the hospital while training there, her name is [name]", Naruto said with a grin, trying to see if there is any blush on Kakashi's face again.
"In the hospital? I thought lady Tsunade wouldn't accept more students, especially from outside the village, she already has me and Ino", the pinkette said with some kind of whining in her voice, as if she didn't like the idea.
"Shizune is the one who's gonna train her, don't worry about your important position Sakura, hehe", Naruto said with a chuckle, recieving a punch from the girl that he managed to dodge easily.

"You can't stop others from learning Sakura, if you are afraid she'd surpass you, then work harder", Kakashi said as he kept walking with his hands in his pockets.
"I'm not even worried, you guys make things out of your minds...also, if lady Tsunade didn't accept to teach her herself like me, than I don't think there is something to worry about, not to talk that she is not from the hidden leaf", Sakura said with a shrug as she kept walking.
"Too much self confidence isn't always good...", Kakashi mattered under his breath as he kept walking, causing Naruto to smirk then say:"the good part here is that, even Kakashi sensei likes her", hearing this, Kakashi's face turned red, luckily he was walking ahead of the two of them, and his mask covered most of his face so they wouldn't notice.
"Like her? How exactly Naruto?", Sakura asked Naruto curiously as this one just grinned widely, he was just about to say something when Kakashi stopped him as he said:"enough you two! I suggest that you save your energy for our next mission instead of blabbering around".
Naruto pouted as he sighed while Sakura shrugged and kept walking.

"How's everything going so far [name]?", Shizune asked you after a while after you began training. The first thing you have been learning was the basics of ninjutsu, Chakra and how to control it, usually something that takes days and weeks to learn.

"Everything is going well lady Shizune, I guess I will learn this quickly", you said smiling as you tried to focus more on the flow of your inner energy, she nodded and continued to work on some paperwork she had.

"Well I guess we are done for today, you can leave now [name]", Shizune said with a gentle smile once you finished your training for the day. You thanked her and took the scrolls she gave you to read them later and left the hospital.
You were grateful for what she had taught you, it's only a matter of time and practice before you could master this, yet you felt it was not enough, you needed more, you felt greedy for more knowledge, but you decided first to take a break after a long day of hard work, you then decided to go pay the library a visit.
