"Why you didn't answer me when I first called you?!", you asked him with a frown and a pout crossing your arms over your chest, Itachi noticed the worry on your face, but why?
"I'm sorry...there is no need to worry, when the doors are closed it is hard to hear what's happening inside, but also...I have gotten used to you that I don't feel alerted when you're around", Itachi said with a small smile walking to you, as you sighed and nodded, then smiled back.

"So what are you doing Itachi? I see you already placed the new tatami in the reception room", you said stepping down the engawa on the ground, looking around the bushes and trees all over the wall surrounding the house.
"Come here, I found something for you", Itachi said calmly, taking your hand and starting to walk over to a certain bush that was climing up the wall, the same bush he was pruning a while ago.
"This is familiar...", you said taking a look at it, but being the herbs expert you are, you immediately figured it out, a bush of roses.
"This is a rose bush, something I guess you'd love", Itachi said with a smile , and you nodded in agreement.

"Hopefully they are red", you said looking at the leaves of it, the bush still didn't have any buds yet.

"I will get you a red rose bush if this one isn't", Itachi said confidently with smirk as you started laughing, making him look at you confused.

"What's so funny m'lady?", he asked as you looked at him with a small smirk as you started walking around with your hands behind your back, looking at the other plants and bushes in the garden surrounding the house.
"You didn't even bring me one single red rose, yet you talk about a whole bush of roses", you said stopping in your walk and turning around to face him.

"What?! I didn't?!", Itachi himself seemed surprised by this, how didn't he notice? it's the same thing with confessing his love to you, it only happened accidentally after months of dating while he was already so deeply in love with you, he seems to love forgetting about these details.
"No, you did not", you said with a fake pout, crossing your hands over your chest and shaking your head no. He rubbed his chin thoughtfully then looked at you with a smirk and said:"but I got you a pomegranate if you remember", your mouth hung open, "a...a pomegranate?! What does that have to do with a romantic red rose?!", you said raising an eyebrow and crossing your arms over your chest again as he chuckled sheepishly and said:"well, it's also sweet and tasty...and it wasn't in season if you remember, I got it especially for you, I peeled it off for you with my kunai as you watched with your beautiful eyes while blushing, you looked so cute back then, I was really so amused to see that shy and innocent look on your face [name]", he said with a big smirk noticing the blush intensifies on your cheeks, he can never forget those first times when you started seeing each other.

 "S-stop it Itachi! We were talking about the rose not me!", you said looking at his eyes as he just smirked more.

"Yeah, but since we got to talk about pomegranate I remembered that, who would have thought the sweet, beautiful, gentle and innocent [name] would be hiding all that love, power and strength under the soft mask?", he said as you couldn't help but to giggle while bashing at his words.

"You are the one who brought that out of me", you said as he nodded, proud of himself, placing his hand on your head patting it gently then pulling you into a hug that you returned pleasantly, closing your eyes and smiling.

"who would have thought we would end up together like this? Now being in our own home a while before we are married...", he whispered in your ear making you blush more as you smiled, hiding your face in his chest as he chuckled kissing your temple, Itachi seems to be in a flirty mood today.

"You're unique Itachi", you said pulling back with a giggle poking his cheek.
"Maybe, but why do you say this m'lady?", he asked taking a strand of your hair and swirling it around his finger.
"People fall in love gradually, they meet each other first, have a crush, confess later, and then kiss, but in your case Itachi, you started with the last part, you first kissed me, then we shared a room, you disappeared, then you came back and we started dating, then we started to like each other, we fell in love then, and later, at last you finally confessed your love!", you said with a laugh as he rolled his eyes but then laughed as well with you, that was a bit complicated.
"But I know you liked it, and you were part of it all [name]", he said with a smirk, now him poking your cheek, as you didn't say anything in reply to this, he is right.

"Itachi?", you asked as you then resumed walking slowly around the house with him.
"Yes Itachi's sweetheart?", he said, looking at you waiting for what you want to tell him.
"I have a question in my head for a while I couldn't just forget", you said with a smile, looking at his beautiful eyes.
"What's that [name]?", he tilted his head questioningly.
"Why did you kiss me that night under the old mystic great tree?", you said, stopping your walk and looking at him, you have never got an answer for that question...
"Well I...", you can see that cute pink color slowly spreading all over his face, and even reaching his ears, only you can bring this side out of Itachi, and you love it.
"I remember when I asked you this after it, you said: some things shouldn't be questioned [name]", you said, mimicking Itachi's deep voice when you said the last part as you then giggled at his face expression changing, rising an eyebrow at you.
"You're making fun of me [name]? I, Itachi Uchiha...is being made fun of?", he exclaimed narrowing his eyes as you couldn't help but to laugh more.
"Sorry...you're doing it again now, Itachi, you're like: be careful, I'm so tough!", you said trying to stop laughing, as Itachi just watched you for a while, before a smirk appeared on his face as he gotten close to your face then said:"well, now that you said this [name], you were really scared of me back then". You sighed with a small nod, looking aside feeling your cheeks heating up but then grinned and said:"yeah, but not anymore, now I know who you really are!".

Itachi chuckled at your answer, still you weren't satisfied with the way he avoided your question.
"You didn't tell me why you kissed me so suddenly back then Itachi?", you said looking back at him, you really want to know this.

Itachi smirked then let out a deep sigh, placing his hand on your cheek then said in a soft voice:"what was I supposed to do there? What choices did I have? Having you right there in front of me in that magical night, so close and beautiful under that giant glowing tree as it reflected the full moon's light, petals falling around us and landing on the water where we were standing then going with the flow, while you couldn't pick up that flower, trying your best to reach for it as I then picked it up and gave it to you, the way you were holding your kimono so it doesn't get soaked in the water , your hair, your eyes, your blushing cheeks as our faces were close when you found me close...you caught me off guard [name], everything about you pulled me strongly to you, to have that kiss...it shouldn't be questioned really, some things don't need to be justified, it should only be done the way it is...", Itachi finished his words as you were smiling at him, he took the change and kissed again, as he lifted your chin up gently between his fingers, he still remembers that night in details...
"Alright, this makes sense, I thought I was the only one being so attracted back then, well... I also couldn't resist or push you, even though I was tremendously scared of you back then and we were strangers...", you said, as he nodded and smiled gently to you, he placed his arm around you as you two then continued your walk around the house.

"Speaking of pomegranates...[name], we have a pomegranate tree here", Itachi said with a smile as your eyes widened in surprise.

"Really?!"

"Yes, I just discovered it while I was taking a look around, come on, let me show it to you", Itachi said, holding your hand and leading you to where the tree is, somewhere near the koi fish pond.
"Oh, it is really a pomegranate tree Itachi! But it will be a while before it yields fruits", you said looking at it closely, Itachi nodded and said:"yes, but still, I have got us some anyway", you looked at him surprised then smiled once you saw the proud look on his face.

"You know where to get these from, Itachi"

"Of course, for you only"

You giggled at him, then looked up, seeing that it was getting dark.
"Itachi, I guess we should go get something to eat", you said, as he nodded at you, "no need to leave the house, I have already got some groceries on my way here, we will cook dinner here", Itachi said as you smiled and nodded at him, then making your way together back inside the house.
