You walked back to your village, stealing some looks backwards form time to time, maybe you'd see a last glimpse of him, maybe he will be back...
You wiped out some tears you have been holding so hard in front of Itachi, you entered your village seeing that people started opening their shops and getting to business as morning had come.

You headed home, you opened the door and just as you stepped inside the smell of morning tea had come to your nose, you smiled at this knowing lady Noriko was preparing breakfast, you sighed thinking about Itachi, he shouldn't have left in a hurry, he should have at least ate something, the sweets you have given him won't be enough.
You entered the kitchen and she was setting the table, when she gasped slightly seeing you already coming back from the outside.

"I thought you were still upstairs, I was about to call you", she said as you smiled and helped her with the table, "Itachi left, so I went to say goodbye", you said sitting down and pouring some tea in your cups, "that explains the sad look on your face", the lady said with a small smile, as she then started eating her breakfast, not wanting to talk more about this, you already look like you have been crying.

After breakfast, the lady went to the hospital while you decided to stay home, you still haven't decided when to get back to work there, even if it's irregular and you only do it when you have free time, but currently you were busy with other things, the wedding and other stuff.
You headed upstairs to your room, you sat at the desk near your bed and looked around, you need to take some of the books and scrolls from here to your house, as well as your clothes and other things.
You smiled as you stood up and started cleaning your room first, since you're still gonna stay here for a while you will have to keep it tidy and well organized.

After finishing the cleaning that didn't take much of your time, you started packing the things you will take later to your house, you opened your closet to take out some clothes, you were looking through your kimonos and dresses and garments, when you giggled slightly finding some of Itachi's belongings there, two kimonos and a couple of pants and shirts, when did he brought all these here? You left your room after selecting what will you take, you headed downstairs and then to your workspace and closed the door. You opened the closet there and took out a box hidden behind so many books and stuff, you opened it and took out the bottle of the elixir you have been working on and some very rare scrolls you've copied during your missions with the Akatsuki. You looked at the bottle in your hand, it must be only used for the right thing, with some more additions and its immense healing abilities, you will be able to turn it into something more than just a healing thing...
You hide it again and started reading the scrolls again, and started studying them deeply, some secret medical skills as well as some rare hidden jutsus...

You have almost fallen asleep thinking, when you heard a tapping sound on your window, you got up from your place and opened it as your heart raced fast, hoping that it would be something reassuring you that Itachi is fine.
It was his crow, though it was night the crow had to carry a message to you, you quickly opened the window and let it in, you gently caressed his head as you unwrapped the ribbon around his leg and and took the small paper in your hand, smiling at the familiar hand writing.
"Dear [name], I'm sorry I couldn't come and see you as I promised, I'm fine, it's just a matter of some new circumstances, I will try my best to come as soon as I can, I missed you, and I love you [name], Itachi"
You sighed in relief, at least he is okay, hopefully these missions doesn't take him long, the crow flight to the tree beside your window to sleep, you went back to your place, holding the letter and reading it over again, hoping Itachi would come back to you safe soon, you then slowly drifted off to sleep.
