Chapter 20

You have finally finished walking down the staircase reaching the bottom, which was a large hall lighted with torches all over the walls, something that helped reduce the darkness. A woman with blue hair wearing a cloak similar to Itachi's was standing there, waiting for you apparently.
"This way...", she told you in a calm voice as she started walking to what seemed to be a corridor you haven't noticed before, as the sound of her footsteps echoed through the large place.

You looked at Itachi who was still standing next to you, with a look on your face that told him to come with you and not let you alone.

"It's alright, follow her", his said in his deep voice, reassuring you that everything will be fine, still you wished he would have come with you though...

What happened to you? Isn't this the man you were afraid of a while ago? What happened that changed your mind and made you feel safer with him and trust him?

He killed his clan, your clan...which seems so hard to believe now, is he this contradicted? To be so cruel and rough to do such a crime, yet still have that much kindness and gentleness hidden within him?
Despite all these thoughts and despite the fact that you have been trying so hard to deny it, your heartbeats quicken when he is close, when looking into his eyes, not in fear of him, but in a  way...a sweet one...
Have you already fallen for him this fast?

You nodded at him and followed the beautiful woman through that pathway arriving to a door that she opened. The two of you entered the room which was illuminated with some lamps and torches as well, keeping its atmosphere warm.
The woman exited the room without saying more and left you alone to work at ease. The guy you were supposed to heal was laying on a white bed that most of it turned red because of his blood. Without waiting for anything else you hurried to him, he had so many injuries as he has been poisoned too. Part of his arm seemed to have necrosis, which was almost impossible to heal, he was breathing with much difficulty as sweat ran down his forehead and body.

"He is in a critical condition!", you muttered to no one in particular, putting your bag on a table beside you as you started getting your things out of it hurriedly. You don't know who this guy is, you don't care what he did, you only know one thing: you have to save him no matter what! That's what lady Noriko had taught you.

You grabbed your pen and wrote something quickly on a paper then without a thought called for him out loud:"Itachi!".
It was merely a few seconds and he was right in front of you, waiting for you to ask him what you want. You gave him the paper and then said:"go to my house quickly! Give this to lady Noriko and bring me the things she will give you as fast as you can! Hurry!". 

He nodded then left quickly to get you what you asked for, while you turned back to your patient and took off his bandages, examining his deep wounds in the abdomen and leg, as well as his arms and some other burns here and there all over his body.
