"Itachi, wake up"

Itachi opened his eyes at Sasuke's voice, what happened? Was it just a dream? Or else...
"Sasuke, where is [name]?!!!", it was the first thing Itachi questioned his brother as he tried to sit up in his bed.
"She is in another room, she is still alive", Sasuke said calmly, helping his brother up.
Looking out of the window, it seemed it was dawn, it was still a bit dark as the sun wasn't up yet, [name] was in a critical situation yesterday and she has been expected to die soon...
"How's Tatsu?! Sasuke?", Itachi asked already getting up from bed.
"He is asleep now, he is healing fast though", Sasuke replied, watching his brother getting ready to leave the room, as he knew where he was going.

"They did all they can do for her, still no one knows what will happen in the few next hours, it all depends on how strong she is and how she responds...", Sasuke said as he and Itachi entered your room, watching you laying down on the bed, your chest moving up and down slowly as you have been attached to many medical instruments.
Itachi didn't say anything as he took a seat beside you, what if that dream he had just seen will become true?! What if you really leave him?!
"You can go, Sasuke, you need to rest...", Itachi said as his younger brother nodded, "I will be back soon", Sasuke said before leaving the room and closing the door after him.

"How is she?", Sasuke asked as he met Sakuta right after he exited your room.

"Honestly, we didn't expect her to last until now...something weird is happening...she seems to heal faster than we've expected, her body heals on its own and repairs the damage", the pink haired woman said as she looked at you and Itachi through the glass, "gladly she wasn't stabbed directly in the heart, otherwise she would have died immediately right then", she added as Sasuke sighed.
"And Tatsu?"
"He keeps getting better", she said with a reassuring smile, Sasuke nodded and took one last look at his brother, he is worried about him, this time if he loses you, loses his family again, he might not just accept it, especially that he was the one stabbing you by his own hand.
"Sasuke, maybe you should go home and take a rest", Sakura said to Sasuke noticing the tiredness on his face.
"No, I need to go smoehere else...", he said then started walking away, of course, he needs to destroy that scroll before another disaster happens.

Itachi remained beside you watching you laying unconscious in front if him, recalling all those sweet and hard times you have shared together. He passed his hand gently on your hair, biting his lip seeing the state you're in, everytime he thinks things will finally work out for him, he just ends up facing another loss.
"I really love you [name]...", he whispered in your ear, gently resting his forehead on your head as he kissed your head gently, "you need to survive and make it through this, I will not want to live in a world where you don't exist...I and Tatsu need you so much!", he whispered closing his eyes, as his hand gently grabbed yours and caressed it softly...
He gently kissed it, as he then looked at your pale face with that nasal cannula to help you breath, he leaned in and kissed you, tears slipped out of his eyes as he thought it could be the last time he kisses you.
"We will go home as you wanted...I promise...you just have to wake up and get better...", he whispered pulling back and kissing your forehead, he then took the Uchiha bracelet out of his pocket and placed it on your wrist, then rested his head on your stomach, he wanted you to cuddle him and pull him closer and tell him everything will be fine, play with his hair and gently smile to him while doing so...too tired, he fell asleep, hoping that when he wakes up, things would be better.

He smiled in his sleep hearing your voice calling him, you and Tatsu are in the yard of your house watering the plants while he had just came back home, it feels so beautiful to be a family, unlike that other dream when you and Tatsu ignored his presence, this time you didn't, he watched you smile as you put the watering can aside and started walking toward him to welcome him back while Tatsu had already ran to him giggling loudly holding his arms up for him to lift him up.

"Itachi..."

he smiled as he hugged you, closing his eyes and taking in your smell, something feels like magic to have you close.

"Itachi...",
his eyes shot open waking up once he realized your voice isn't just in a dream, you're actually calling him, while your hand slowly caressed his head.
He quickly lifted his head off of your abdomen, you were indeed awake looking at him with half opened eyes as you smiled weakly at him, while he remained speechless for a while, not believing what he is seeing.
"Hey...", you said breaking the silence as you noticed the surprise and hopeful look on his face while watching you, you wanted to laugh but you held it back as your injuries would still hurt you.
"[name]...you're...", he muttered, still can't take his eyes off of you, feeling as if time has stopped, as he leaned closer to you, looking deepily in your eyes, seeing his reflection in them.
"You'd be an idiot if you think I will leave you that easily...", you muttered with a tired voice and a sweet smile, slowly placing your hand on his face touching him as he placed his hand onto yours holding it, finally starting to actually accept what he is seeing, as a big smile appeared on his face, it is not a dream...
"I...I thought I lost you!!"
