You were in the kitchen preparing the table with Tatsu, while Itachi and Sasuke were packing their stuff for leaving tomorrow morning.
Itachi opened the wardrobe to take a shirt and put it on, he looked at the upper shelves seeing a beautiful white silky kimono folded and put there, he knows this...your wedding kimono, and next to it was his wedding outfit, the same clothes he wore on that night before leaving everything behind and disappear.
He grabbed the folded fancy white kimono, then he brought it close to his nose, the traces of a certain smell are still in it, memories flow back in his mind as he closed his eyes, you were so pretty and beautiful that night...like ever, and he...
He sighed, it is over now, he is here to make things better, he was about to put the silky dressing back in its place when something fell from it, a dry red rose...the one he gave to you that night.
He knows now to what point you were holding onto him, to what point he is important to you and how he cut you so deep that you overreacted once he told he is 'leaving' temporarily to hidden leaf.
He put your white kimono back in the wardrobe, next to his outfit as he grabbed his shirt then closed it, then headed down to the kitchen to have dinner all together with you.

"I hope you liked it here Sasuke", you said with a smile, hoping the youngest Uchiha brother didn't feel bored or zoned out while staying here.
"It was really good to be here, thanks for the hospitality", Sasuke replied to you with a smile, taking a bite from the cherry tomato pasta you have made, enjoying the taste of it.
"Of course he likes it here, especially when you are spoiling him with all those tomato based dishes...", Itachi commented with a smirk looking at his brother who pouted and gave him a side glare as you chuckled slightly at them.
"Says the man who drools over her dango...", Sasuke muttered enjoying his meal making Itachi raise his eyebrows, is Sasuke mocking him?
"It is delicious, and no one can change that, it is a fact", Itachi said with a low 'hn' in the end as he ate more of his rice while you smiled and sweat-dropped.
"It is just food, and everyone has a different taste...", you said trying to lighten up the mood.
"Indeed [name], so what do you like Tatsu?", Itachi asked his son with an eye-clsoed smile, making Tatsu grin as he looked at you.
"Dango!", he said with a giggle as Itachi smirked in victory while Sasuke chuckled, as you sighed in relief that Tatsu didn't actually say 'something' else, especially in front of Sasuke.

Dinner was over, Sasuke had left to sleep, you have finished cleaning the kitchen then headed upstairs, before you go to your room you stopped by Tatsu's room hearing Itachi's voice as he was talking with him, you then pushed the door and entered quietly...
"But why do you have to go?", Tatsu asked with a frown as he laid down in his bed, Itachi was sitting beside him and informing him about his leave as you told him to do earlier.
"I have some things to do there, and maybe soon after I'm back, I will take you and mom too to visit it", Itachi said with a small smile gently patting Tatsu's head, talking to him about Konoha.
"But mom will cry again when you go", Tatsu said with a pout making Itachi sigh deeply, he was about to say something when you talked instead.
"No darling, I will not cry, I promise, also you will be with me, and dad will be back to us soon, right Itachi?", you said cutting their talk off as you stood beside Itachi placing your hand on his shoulder, making him smile and look up at you, holding your hand in his as he nodded at you.
"Of course, I will try to be back in two weeks at the most...until then, I will leave mom to you Tatsu to take care of her and protect her, okay?!", Itachi said smiling down at the little boy pulling the covers on him as he nodded slowly, the two of you then kissed him a goodnight kiss then left to your room closing the door after.

You entered your room, you walked to the dresser to take off some of your hairpins and take off your kimono to sleep comfortably while Itachi sat on the bed watching you for a while, as he seemed to be lost deep in thoughts.
"[name], come here and sit down...", you turned around hearing his voice calling you as you finished taking off your kimono remaining in your white juban, you smiled at him as you saw him patting the spot beside him, you walked over to him and then sat beside him.
"Alright, tomorrow morning I will be leaving with Sasuke, and so, I wanna give you some remarks about it...", he said in a calm voice taking a strand of your hair and gently playing with it.
"Alright...I'm hearing you Itachi".
"Okay, don't over worry yourself about me, I will be back in two weeks at the most as I already said, sleep and eat well, have fun with Tatsu and also...I will keep in touch with you through my crows, okay?", he said with a smile as he looked into your eyes, swirling your strand of hair around his finger.
"Okay...", you nodded, admiring the beauty of his eyes, just as he admired yours.
"And I will take care of myself I promise, and...don't let anyone try to flirt with you", he said with a small frown.
"You don't even have to tell me this now, I got used to this...", you said with a smile as you leaned your head against his chest hearing his heartbeats, he smiled as he stroked your hair gently with his hand for a while, just then you heard a soft knock on the door.

"Tatsu, why are you still up?", Itachi asked confused as he opened the door, while Tatsu just looked up at him with those sad beautiful eyes of his.
"Can I...sleep with you tonight?", Tatsu said as he hugged Itachi's leg not giving him a choice but to accept, he looked back at you confused what to do as you just smiled in a agreement while you were getting in bed, after all, if Itachi wants some fun, he can have all he wants, once he is back.
"Alright Tatsu...come...", Itachi said with a little sigh then a little smile closing the door then taking the boy's hand walking back with him toward the bed, Tatsu didn't wait a moment to climb on the bed and lay next to you waiting for Itachi, who didn't let you two wait more for him as he laid down with you in the bed and pull the covers over the three of you, seeing how Tatsu snuggled closer to him and hide his face in his chest, falling asleep shortly after.
You giggled slightly at Tatsu's cutness, you moved closer to the two of them and hugged Tatsu's cute body, as Itachi wrapped his arm the two of you, hearing you wish him a goodnight closing your eyes as he did the same thing.

It was was already morning of the next day...
"I guess we are ready...", Itachi muttered putting on his shoes as he was about to leave with Sasuke, time passed quickly since Sasuke came here.
"Alright, here is some food I've prepared for you to start your journey...", you said holding two wrapped boxes of food.
"Thank you again for everything, it was a great pleasure meeting you", Sasuke said with a gentle smile as he took the food from your hands as you nodded and smiled back at him, then you gave Itachi his own.
"So, is there anything you want me to get for you when I'm back, [name]?", Itachi asked with a smile, noticing how Tatsu looked at him not really happy while holding on the fabric of your kimono.
"No, nothing really, just be back safe...", you said smiling, gently patting Tatsu's head, as Itachi sighed a little bit.
"And you Tatsu?", Itachi asked his son.
Tatsu just shook his head no as he looked at Itachi then at you, Itachi then bent down and hugged Tatsu warmly for a long while, before pulling back and looking into his eyes, "okay then, as we already talked yesterday...take care of mom until I'm back", Itachi said seriously as Tatsu nodded, making his dad smile as he quickly kissed his cheek then stood up and looked at you again.
"Now [name], I will see you soon...", he said with a smile as you nodded at him smiling back.

"Take care of yourself, you too Sasuke", you said as they both nodded, just about to leave, Itachi pulled you into a hug then turned around and left with Sasuke, while you and Tatsu stood at the door watching them walk away until they disappeared.
