You left the hospital as you have gotten better, surprising the medical ninjas there with the speed of the healing process. You have been in your room packing your things for leaving, today was your last day at the hidden leaf, you were excited to go back home, and really missing lady Noriko and your friends there.

It was morning of the next day, you have been standing in front of Konoha's gate ready to leave.
"So you are already leaving...", Sasuke said in a low voice, sounding a bit down as his big brother will leave again, Kakashi who has been standing beside him just sighed.
"We will be back for sure, and we will be waiting for you to come visit", Itachi said as Sasuke nodded with a sigh, "you come too!", you all looked down to see Tatsu directing his finger to Kakashi with a big grin on his face, "sure thing", Kakashi said with a little chuckle patting Tatsu's head gently.

"Alright then, it is time we leave, we will see you soon again", Itachi said as they both nodded, still before leaving, you wanted to say something.
"Thank you, Sasuke, thank you so much", you said with a smile, making a beautiful rare smile to appear on the younger Uchiha brother's face, now you're family is even bigger, Sasuke, the one you hated at a time for killing Itachi is now the one who saved you.
"You're welcome, anytime, [name]", he muttered, still smiling as he then looked at Tatsu, gently patting his head then said to him: "and you Tatsu, take care of yourself, I will see you again soon", hearing this Tatsu nodded cutely as he then held your hand, ready to leave.
The three of you walked ahead while Sasuke and Kakashi watched you from a distance, until you disappeared from their sight.

"Do you think we could make it to a village tonight, Itachi?", you asked after a while of walking, while Tatsu enjoyed being carried on Itachi's shoulders.
"I don't think so, we will be camping in the woods tonight", he said, you nodded with a smile, it would be nice, the three of you will sit around the fire and talk until you feel sleepy. Your talks never seemed to come to an end, Itachi is still the calm and serious person when he is with others, yet with you, another sweet person appears, his silence becomes unfinished talking and chatting, telling you stories and hearing from you, sharing with you ideas and thoughts, and making plans for the future together with you.

"[Name]?", you looked at him hearing him call your name and nodded for him to continue.

"Does anything hurts you? Are you tired?", he asked in concern looking at you, you shook your head no and looked at him with a smile.

"No, everything is okay...Itachi?"

"Yes love?"

"Before we go home...I want to go first to that tree", you said as he thought about it for a while.

"Sure, nothing bad is supposed to happen...the monsters won't attack us, and since you've reunited that woman with her child she wouldn't try to harm us", he said as you nodded and continued:"though that tree blooms once every several decades...there is no harm in visiting it again, who knows what else we could find in there, besides...it is pretty, and holds many memories...", tachi nodded, and before he can say anything else, Tatsu interrupted your conversation with a curious question, "what are you talking about?", he asked making you smile hearing his sweet voice with that cute confused look on his face, he still doesn't know about the tree and he still have a lot to learn.

"It is a beautiful place with a beautiful big tree we will go to on our way back home", Itachi explained with a smile as Tatsu nodded, you took a deep breath and looked at the blue clear sky, feeling happy to be together with your little family.

At midday you three stopped to have some lunch, and then at evening you stopped by a place that seemed good and safe for you to spend the night at.
You were a bit tired from walking a long distance, the sun was still up, having an orange color as the sunset was soon. You have already set your tent for the night and gathered wood to make a fire, you and Itachi took off your shoes and sat near a stream of water, rolling up your pants and letting your feet dive and rest in the running cold water, while Tatsu was having fun playing at a near distance trying to catch one of the fishes swimming in the water.

"You seem calm, [name]", Itachi said in a low voice, he loved the color your eyes have when the evening sunlight falls on them, you didn't seem bothered or sad, you just looked like you were thinking of something while watching Tatsu playing.
"I was thinking and remembering the first night I spent with you and Kisame in the outside, later that night after I took care of my business, you came and killed the snake that was coming at me, then forced me to sleep close to you", you said with a little giggle looking at him as he nodded and smiled, gently caressing your fingers in his hand.
"Yes I remember, and that other time when we went to get rooms at the inn in the next village, they only had two rooms available as Kisame took one and we took the other one, you were complaining about it when I said you will be staying with me, and told me to sleep with Kisame instead and give you the single room", he said with a smile as you chuckled and blushed slightly.

"I remember when you said you'd sleep on the floor so I don't get bothered, but seeing how much of a gentleman you are, I refused and told you to sleep on the same bed but keep our distances, if I knew we would end up like this, maybe I would have acted differently...", you said with a little smile, leaning against his shoulder.
"Me too...I kept denying my feelings for you, until I realized I had already fallen for you the first time I have seen you", he said as you blushed and nodded, looking at the sun as it was about to go down, time for you to prepare some food for dinner and go have some sleep.

The three of you sat around the fire for a while talking after having some dinner, the warmth made the three of you feeling sleepy, but Tatsu was refusing to sleep until you go to sleep as well.
"Now Tatsu, you need to sleep", you said as you three entered your tent and laid down on the sleeping pad, with Tatsu between you and Itachi. It was darkness, yet you can tell his beautiful black eyes were still open reflefting some dim light as he snuggled closer to you while you gently played with his hair.

"Mom, sing for me", he said with a yawn as you giggled a little, making sure the blanket is covering all three of you well.
"Okay, but I will just hum a lullaby, and you close your eyes and think of something beautiful you want to dream of", you said gently caressing his cheek.
"I will think of you, mom...", he trailed off, closing his eyes and listening to your voice, not long after, you heard him snoring slightly as his grip on your clothes loosened, falling asleep.

"Keep singing, please...", you heard Itachi whisper to you as he extended his hand in he darkness holding yours, apparently getting more relaxed at your voice, you didn't say anything as you resumed humming the same song, gently taking your hand out of his and tangling it in his soft hair instead, gently massaging his scalp as he then slowly dozed off to sleep as well. You closed your eyes as well, falling asleep and having a rest, getting ready to continue your journey tomorrow.
