You laid down in yor place facing him. You can still hear the storm outside as it have gotten worst, you can hear thunder as well as the sound of the heavy rain pouring.
"[name], give me you hand...", he whispered as he then held your hand making you blush, something you hoped he couldn't see.
"I'm here", you whispered back, feeling him intertwining his fingers with yours, his hand felt softer and warmer then a hand of an assassin would have felt.

He closed his eyes, having you close to him made him feel happy and warmed up his heart, it was a too soothing and comforting, yet there was a desire he thought he no longer exists in him, he is developing deep feelings for you...he sighed getting rid of these thoughts, no, he can't hurt you, even if you would let him take you for himself, he can't pull you into the mess he is living in, he is totally fine with your relationship being this innocent and calm, he can't bring himself to ruin your purity and innocence.

But how long is he gonna hold back?

"Itachi?", you called his name in a whisper, making him hum in response as he opened his eyes little in the darkness, looking at the glimpse of your shape.
"If the storm doesn't pass by tomorrow morning, stay here please, okay?", he smiled slightly, gently tightening his hold on your hand as he then  whispered: "I think it will pass by then, but if not, I will stay", you smiled and nodded at his response.
"Itachi", you called for him in a low voice again, enjoying his company as rain was falling outside continuously.
"Yes [name]?", he whispered, his smile still on his face.
"Itachi I...", you hesitated.
"Yes [name], what is it?", he asked you in a calm yet serious voice.
"Um...I want to tell lady Noriko about...you, I mean about what truly happened to the clan...", you said.
"And?", he said simply, doesn't appearing to be mad or upset about what you said.
"I'm afraid you will get mad and refuse, I know I promised you I will not tell anyone but... she will understand, and helps us more if needed, she doesn't mind me seeing you though", you explained, hoping he won't dent it.
"[name]"
"Yes...Itachi", you said biting your lower lip feeling nervous.
"Do you think that's a good idea?", he asked you calmly, kinda surprising you.
"Yes", you nodded.
"Okay then...but no other single living being should know, okay?", he said in a serious voice, if it would make you two avoid some problems, then why not? The old lady seems very trustful...
"I promise!", you said in a slightly high pitched tone in excitement.
"Sshhh! You will wake her up!", he placed his other hand quickly on your mouth to silence your high voice, then removed it once making sure you got quiet.
"Sorry! I just got excited", you whispered back with a small giggle as he smiled.
"Thank you [name], for everything", he said quietly, making you smile even more.
"Welcome", you replied, hearing a loud thunder sound as it kept pouring.
"Itachi?"
"Yes [name]?", he replied patiently, but starting to sound pretty sleepy.
"If you go tomorrow, don't forget your eyedrops and to take care of your health, and you can come back here anytime you want, it's your home, okay?", you said with a yawn as you started feeling sleepy as well.
"Okay, so, is there something else [name]?", he said in a voice that you can barely hear.
"For the moment no...", you replied, almost falling asleep.
"Alright, good night then"
"Night, Itachi..."

It was already morning, the storm had passed. You opened your eyes at the sound of birds singing on the branches of the tree near your window as the daylight infiltrated the room, looking at your side you didn't find Itachi, you quickly sat up in your place looking around the room seeing that he had already took his cloak and things and left, probably in an early hour of the day. You sighed, you wanted to see him one last time before he leaves, you got up and picked up the bedding, making your bad and putting the futon and the spare blanket and pillow in the closet.

You were heading to the bathroom to get ready when you found a note on your desk.
"Thank you again for everything [name], I will see you again soon"
You smiled as you read it then put it aside, putting your hair in a high bun and entering the bathroom to take a warm shower.
