Time passed quickly, day after day, week after week, months...

You have been in the last weeks of pregnancy, the mood swings and cravings seemed to subside but the tiredness had overwhelmed you, being pregnant with a baby was never something easy, and having two simultaneously made things even more harder on you.
You have been taking a walk in the streets of your village with Itachi, you hooked your arm in his as you walked in a slow pace while he held the wagasa above your heads.

You felt a bit tired after a while of walking, you sat on a bench in the local park watching kids playing around while Itachi went to get you some water as you've requested, you took a sip from the bottle of cool water as he sat beside you. It is the beguining of spring, the weather is very nice lately, you looked down at your huge belly as you felt some movement inside, soon these two will be out with you.
"Itachi?"
"Yes sweetheart"
"I don't want our relationship with Tatsu to change after the kids are born...", you said as he nodded and smiled at you reassuringly, for a reason, even if you have many other kids, Tatsu will always have a special place in your heart, he was there when you lost hope to be happy again, he had always made you happy...

Before heading back home you passed by some shops to get more things for the babies. You have been preparing for a while now, their clothes, their beds, toys and other stuff, you made sure to buy something for Tatsu as well everytime you buy things for the twins so he doesn't feel to be left out, you loved the way you did the shopping and preparations together with Itachi, and you can tell by looking into his eyes that he was really happy about it as well.

It was later at night, and as usual Itachi was home, after giving Tatsu a warm bath and showered his beautiful face with kisses you have put him in bed, pregnancy made you do stupid things and even hate Itachi at times, but it only made you love Tatsu more and more.

You have been in the bathtub having a warm and relaxing bath, your legs and back especially felt sore because of the extra weight. Itachi was with you helping and gently massaging your back and shoulders muscles, you closed your eyes letting out a sigh as you placed a hand on your belly, not long left now...yet this is really getting you tired lately...

"Does your feet still hurt you?", Itachi asked you gently as you opened your eyes and smiled, "a little, but it will subside when I sleep", you said as he nodded, he then helped you finish your bath then helped you to get to bed.

"Itachi dear?"
"Yes love"
"Don't you see that you're...spoiling me a little too much", you said with a little smile as he chuckled a bit.
"So?", he said, smirking a little.
"I might get used to it"
"That would be fine...", he replied with a chuckle as he then laid down next to you.

You have been leaning on the headboard wearing the soft bathrobe only, you looked in his eyes with a smile then gently held his hand in you.

"Itachi, since the birth os getting soon, let's pick up names for our children", you said smiling kindly at him as he nodded, you snuggled to his chest hearing the sound of his heartbeats, he smiled down at you and pulled the covers on the two of you, turning off the lights leaving only one tiny light source above your heads.
"You have any ideas?", he whispered while you were playing with a strand of his hair then said:"hm...you tell me first Itachi", he chuckled at this, well you gave Tatsu his name, a beautiful and meaningful name and now it is his turn.

"Okay, how about Ai for our daughter? It means love...", Itachi said with a smile.

"It is amazing, I agree", you said with a faint voice looking down at your belly then up into his eyes, "I have a suggestion for the boy's name, how about Shisui?", you said with a gentle smile as you can see the surprise on Itachi's face when you said this.

"You mean..."

"Yes, after your cousin and best friend, the one you told me a lot about, I want this baby to become like him", you said as you saw a beautiful smile form on his lips as his features softened, "I love you [name]!", he whispered gently pressing your head more against his chest as you closed your eyes enjoying the closeness, well now that you have picked up names for your kids, you can have some sleep now...

"Mom? Where are you going?", Tatsu asked you with a confused look on his cute face seeing you packing a suitcase, you have been making the last preparations before the birth giving, putting what you and the kids will need at the hospital, as you will be going there soon.
"Come to me,Tatsu...", you said as you closed your suitcase and put it aside then sat on the bed, he run to you and looked at you with his big black eyes, still worried while you smiled at him.
"I will go to the hospital soon to-"
"Are you sick?!", Tatsu cut you off as soon as he heard the word hospital, he had noticed the change in you lately, though he didn't clearly show it, he was quite worried about you, after all, to him, you mean the world.
"No sweetheart, it is not like that...", you said pulling him close to your chest and kissing his head, then cupped his face in your palms and looked at him with a smile, "I will go there to deliver your little siblings, meanwhile you stay with grandma Noriko, and dad will bring you to us later once they come to this world, and then...", you trailed  off gently pinching his rosy cheek softly as you couldn't hold yourself back at his cuteness.

"Then?!", he repeated, tilting his head questioningly.

"Then, all five of us will be back home together", you said with a smile as he nodded, his worried face expression turning into a slightly happy one, he seems to take after you in worrying too much about others...

"Do you promise?", he asked you cutely holding his little pinky for you as you giggled and hooked your finger with his, "I promise!".

It was a long night, it wasn't a complicated birth, but having a twin to deliver surely took a lot of time and caution. Itachi was with you in the delivery room, holding your hand trying his best to encourage you and stay by your side through this moments, he had seen a lot of death scenes, but seeing the miracle of life was something diffrent, he was there when Sasuke was born, but he didn't witness the whole process, to see the amount of pain and suffering a woman passes through to give birth to her children, he remembered his mother, and his father, now he knows how they felt, and why they chose to just let him finish them off not even trying to fight him back, you can never fight a piece of yourself, especially if it was the most precious one...

The boy, Shisui was born first then a few minutes after, Ai has been born as well, two little healthy babies, yours and Itachi's kids. He was still under the affect of that feeling, the feeling to become a father, he felt this with Tatsu, but in all honestly, seeing this right in front of him was different.
"Do you want to hold them? Itachi?", you said still laying down on the delivery bed, with the two newborns on your chest.
"Yeah...", Itachi muttered in a low voice taking one of them close to his chest, he didn't really precise which one to hold first, but it was Ai,her little body was still naked while she was crying as she soon calmed down once she felt being close to him, Itachi smiled as he held her close to his chest, too small and fragile, and also...too beautiful.
"She is pretty...", Itachi said as then a nurse wrapped her in a clean clothe, you nodded, looking down at your son, Shisui noticing that he had calmed down as he had already started nursing, cute.

It was morning, you have been in the hospital room in bed with the twins beside you in their beds when you heard a knock on the door then it was opened.

You can see how impatient Tatsu seemed to see you, he smiled brightly once he saw you as you opened your arms wide for him and kissed him.
"So, what do you think Tatsu?", Itachi asked his son, sitting him on his lap as he sat beside you on your bed, you were holding Shisui who had just woke up.

"He is...too small!", Tatsu exclaimed with confusion, gently poking his brother's cheek making you giggle as Itachi smiled, he had passed through this same situation as well...
It was short later when lady Noriko came in too, she congratulated you then took a look at the little kids.

"Hm...I guess the girl take a lot after her father, just like Tatsu...", she said holding the sleeping little girl in her arms and looking at her features, then she looked at Shisui who had slept again in your arms, "and I guess this little one takes after both the two of you, but he seemed he will look more like [name] as he grew up, he even has your [h/c] hair", she said with a little smile as you nodded, indeed, Ai seemed to have raven black hair and dark eyes like Itachi while, Shisui has your eyes and hair color.
