The day has finally come, tonight the festival is gonna be held, for days people has been preparing, cleaning the village and decorating the streets and the places where some events are gonna be held.
You were so excited, like every year, take a break from your studies and have some fun, especially that this time Itachi will come, or at least that's what you hoped for.

It was already night, people were singing some traditional songs as kids played around, there were shops selling specific things and mementos of this festival, food shops were serving some dishes that are cooked for this occasion as well as some ordinary meals.
Noriko was also busy with the others, helping them organize everything and telling them what they need to do, since she was considered one of the eldest of the village. She was aware about Itachi's coming, she didn't seem to mind but she still asked you to be more cautious and not make people suspicious about him and who he is.

You were with the girls and the rest of the villagers watching an acrobatic show together, squealing and applauding everytime the players do a trick or a dangerous move, especially when they used fire in their games.
The show had already ended and there was a traditional musical show about to start, yet, Itachi is still didn't show up, you sighed, wishing that he'd be here as well to have some fun.
Your thoughts suddenly have been interrupted with people calling your name, you looked up around seeing them all looking at you with a smile, and then you knew what they wanted, it was the classic musical show, and everyone knew, that no other girl can match [name]'s dancing skills for this song.
You stood up blushing slightly, and walked up to the stage where the members of the band have been waiting, there were other dancers of course, but everyone wanted an opening by [name]'s solo dancing.

The light had been focused on you, you took your fans, your hair has been down on your back, with hairpins adorning it, wearing a beautiful purple kimono as always, though you weren't wearing makeup, but you were the most pretty girl in the gathering.
The members had started playing their instruments, and so you started dancing, as everyone else admired your skills and beauty. You were moving the fans with your hands as you danced with the song, while your hair moved smoothly with each of your moves and swirls, people watched silently, while your fanboys villagers found a perfect opportunity to watch you closely.
The first part of the show has been over, and as much as they wanted you to dance more you apologized and said that you wanted to enjoy the rest of it as a viewer, they applauded for you as you bowed your head to them respectfully. You were just about to get down from the stage when you spotted him, Itachi, standing in the furthest side of the place, leaning against a tree trunk and applauding as well as he smiled, wearing a dark blue manly kimono and a black haori instead of his usual attire, with his headband off, and his necklace adorning his neck.

Your eyes shined in excitement yet you kept your calm in order not to get the attention of the others, you got down from the stage and excused yourself saying you have something to do, you made your way through the crowd of people as they were focused on the band that started playing again.
"Itachi! You came!", you said excitedly in a low voice, making sure no one was looking at you two as you hugged him quickly.
"Of course, I wouldn't miss such a beautiful show presented by you", he said, still smirking as you blushed a little bit.
"You liked it?", you asked shyly, causing him to chuckle slightly as he nodded.
"You were beautiful", he said, placing his hand on your cheek as you smiled widely at him.
"Wanna watch the rest of the show now?", you suggested as he nodded, the two of you then kept watching from your spot, in a the back of the crowd.
You have been leaning against his shoulder as the two of you watched together, Itachi was glad that he had a chance to attend something like that, especially with you.

It was over, there were more shows to come but instead, you decide to go have some fun together in the village while the big part of people is busy.
You grabbed his hand and left, he asked you where were you taking him while you just replied with a giggle, some things don't need to be questioned, he is the one who have been telling you this some time ago.
After a walk in the village and visiting the shops together and buying some stuff and food, it was time for the fireworks show. You were still trying to think of a good place to watch them, when Itachi quickly picked you up, and in a few seconds, you two were on the rooftop of one the highest buildings in the village, you were so happy watching them, especially when Itachi was by your side, he was silence, as he seemed to be deep in thoughts, as if these events reminded him of an old memory.
He slightly gasped feeling you wrap your arms around his torso as you smiled, no, he is not alone anymore...
He smiled down at you, and placed his arm around your waist, as he watched the beautiful pretty lights in the sky with a smile on his face, until they have been over, and that's when both of you knew it was time to spend some time together away from the crowd of people.
