"We are finally home..."

You said once you stepped inside your house with Itachi and your three kids, staying at the hospital for quite some days really made you appreciate how dear it is to be home.
You went straight to your room to put the sleeping twins in their beds, you and Itachi decided to let them stay in your room for now until they are old enough to sleep in separate rooms, and also so you don't get tired having to leave the room checking on them and feeding them everytime especially at night.
Tatsu was just staring at them, same as he has been ever since those two were born, he was a bit disappointed and jealous at why they can sleep with you unlike him, but as you explained to him, he seemed to understand.

You looked at Itachi who has been sitting on the edge of the bed watching the three of them with a little smile on his face, did he look like Tatsu back then when Sasuke was born years ago? If so, he would have been really cute.
Lost in thoughts, he slightly flinched when he felt a gentle touch on his shoulder, he looked aside to see you taking a seat next to him, he was a bit distracted that he didn't notice your presence close to him.
"What do you like to eat for dinner?", you asked him with a smile as he just looked at you for a while then smiled, yet not saying anything, just looking at your pretty face, "I know I gave you really hard times lately, and I want to make it up to you, so let's start with a delicious meal for now...", you added with an eye-closed smile, he was still smiling as he looked deep in your eyes, then took your hand in both his hands.

"You don't have to feel like you need to make up for anything to me, you did nothing wrong...you had just gave birth to those two a few days ago and you still need to rest and be taken care of", he said as he then extended his hand up to your face and gently touched it.

"Maybe...but I'm fine, and I will be happy if you let me take care of you as well, you are very important to me Itachi", you said with a serious look on your face as you leaned in and kissed him, he closed his eyes, so lively and full of love and concern.

"I love you way too much...", he whispered as you smiled, looking at him.

"Mee too. Now, aside from dango, what do you want to eat sir?", you said with a giggle as he gently smiled, while Tatsu turned towards the two of you quickly as the word dango caught his attention, it seems there will be a delicious dinner for tonight...

after feeding Ai and little Shisui and changing for them, you have been taking a relaxing hot bath while Itachi was in the bedroom reading a book and watching over the sleeping twins. He couldn't resist that need to gently touch their puffy pink cheeks every now and then, careful not to disturb their sleep, he leaned down and kissed each of them, then left the room and headed to Tatsu's.

The boy was already sleeping deep, still keeping his dear shark toy close to him as be snored slightly. Itachi could see his young self in him, even when he started training him, he keeps reminding him of his own self, he made sure he is well covered with the blanket, he gave him a little kiss like his other siblings then left the room.
As he stepped back in the bedroom again, you have been already outside the bathroom, with your cheeks pretty pink from the heat of the bath, you looked pretty as always, and highly wanted...
You walked up to him and took his hand in yours and walked to the bed together, you need some rest, the kids will wake up later for food and so, you need to take the opportunity while they are sleeping to have some time with your husband.

It didn't take your body long to get back in shape. Taking a look at yourself in the mirror a few weeks later you grined as you looked at your flat stomach, well, it was a good idea Itachi kidnapped you years ago and so you went to that tree, otherwise you would never find the secret medicine hidden within the flowers of the old tree.

Months later...

The twins are now crawling, they are filling the house with their giggles and loud cries and noises, sometimes fighting over things and toys. It was common for you to see Itachi sitting on the floor reading something while Ai tries to climb to his lap and Shisui tries to climb on his back while he tries to keep focused.
You were sitting at the table in the reception room teaching Tatsu about some medical herbs, while Itachi was trying to help the two little kids learn to walk, he was holding each of Shisui's hands supporting him while the little boy walked slowly with a cute determined look on his face, you laughed a little as you noticed how scared Ai was to walk by herself, she has been clutching tight on Itachi's leg with her hands and legs as he sighed looking at her, she has been like this for a while, Shisui tries his best to learn to walk, but she just want to be carried instead.

You slightly gasped once Itachi let go of Shisui's hands and the boy took a few steps on his own, giggling loudly and looking around at you proud of himself. Ai was just watching her brother walk on his own when she then realized she is no longer holding on Itachi's leg as he took that opportunity when she was distracted to move away from her. She was standing alone on the tatami floor with a scared look on her face trying to keep her balance, refusing to move on her own. It was only when Tatsu hurried to her and opened his arms for her a close distance from her when she forgot about her fear and walked to him hugging him and giggling, you smiled as you watched her hold on him tight while Itachi smiled as well, it was necessary for her to be on her own to get over her fears, even though he knows she might be disappointed at him for quite some days later for betraying her and letting her all by herself...

"Finally...", Itachi whispered too quite as you left Ai's room together heading back to your own room. You have finally started making the twins sleep in other rooms than your own, Shisui shared the same room with Tatsu while Ai sleeps in the other room next to theirs. You looked at Itachi and have him a wide grin of victory as he smirked then pulled your hands and left to your room together.
