The girl has a Sharingan, which means she is an Uchiha, something that explains why Itachi was so interested in her and protective over her even though he is the one who killed the Uchihas, apprently she is more than just a girlfriend...
Pain and Konan and the masked man had an urgent meeting in the hidden rain village to discuss this new issue, it's an unexpected gain for the Akatsuki, but...will Itachi ever let them use her power? Will she just let them do what they want? "That's none of our business, for now [name] will stay with Itachi, after all she needs someone to guide her with the new power she has awakened, we will see how things will go later", the masked man finished his words as the two others just nodded silently.

You have been sleeping on a futon on the floor in a small inn in a certain village, then you slowly started opening your eyes...what happened? Where are you?

"I-Itachi?...", you muttered, holding your hurtful forehead, noticing the Uchiha being with you looking down at you with a worried look on his face. It seems that he had came to your location and took you right after he heard of what happened and brought you here..maybe Zetsu or the leader have told him...

"You're finally up, [name]...", he said calmly in a soft voice, getting you a glass of water from beside him, helping you up to drink the water.
"Itachi...what...", you were about to ask him when you quickly remembered the bloody night with Hidan and Kakuzu and what happened, making you burst out into tears, crying hysterically as the events came back to your memory, the little boy's terrified face, Hidan stabbing him with a knife, the peaceful innocent people being murdered, your eyes...

"It's okay...it's okay, it's over, I'm here now", you can hear Itachi whisper softly in your ear as he held you in his arms trying to calm you down, no one knows the pain you're passing through, no...not even he knows, when he awakened his Sharingan, he was a ninja, born in a family that taught him everything ever since he was little, these things were common to happen there, but for you...someone who had never been through war, and suddenly brought into a world of violence and blood, it had a huge impact on you...
"I didn't do anything...I couldn't save them...I...I was under a shock I was only trying not to get involved...there was blood and screams...the little boy wanted me to...", you said through your sobs, holding even more tight on Itachi as he kept you close, he has been avoiding this for a while, trying his best to keep you away from this pain but it happened...

"I-Itachi...look...", you said after you calmed down a bit, lifting your face up to him looking at him with your Sharingan activated...

He stared at them for a while, too pretty, but still...too painful to obtain...

"[Name], I know you have passed through a hard mental suffering that lead you to awaken the Shatingan, but love, you have to accept it now, I can't ask you to forget all what you have seen last night but you need to get over it, and get used to your eyes and learn to use them for your favor, I know I might sound a bit rude talking about this now but there is no point in keeping thinking over it and torturing yourself more, it wasn't your fault...", he said, as you cried silently more, thinking about what he said...

Maybe Itachi wouldn't know how it feels to attend such a massacre for the first time in your life for someone like you, but this incident, made you understand more his pain...what was his feeling the night he killed his family? The night his best friend Shisui suicided? The night his whole life has been changed?

You awakened your Sharingan because you saw some innocent people getting killed before your eyes, while him...he had to kill his family by himself...he was forced to...

Itachi...you have suffered a lot...more than all those others who had suffered because of what you did...you're the one who paid so dearly for everything, yet you still keep your beautiful soul and heart...

You had stopped crying as you have been just staring at his face with your teary normal eyes, the Sharingan no longer activated, you understand part of his pain now because you have witnessed something similar, even though what he passed through was several times worst...

"Itachi...", you whispered as your hand shakingly caressed his face as he looked at it then back at your eyes.

"Yes sweetheart...", he said, merely a whisper...
"I will promise you again...I will never leave your side, no matter what!", he was surprised by your words, a determined look on your face, the sadness and defeat in your eyes are now replaced with strength and confidence, how you do this [name]? Stand up again after a fall so fast?
"[name], I know you will not leave me", he replied with a calml voice, smiling kindly at you.
"I need you with me Itachi, that's all I need to be strong...", you muttered, your tears now being replaced with a beautiful smile.
"I'm with you [name]...", he said with a nod, resting your head on his chest, you closing your eyes again, trying to rest more from what happened while being with Itachi.
