"You came...", you murmured, looking at his eyes as the breeze blew gently his bangs.
"Yes, I came to see you, [name]", he said in his deep voice, noticing the pretty shy smile forming on your lips.
You didn't say much then, the two of you just started walking, and went to sit under a tree, while watching some swans swimming in the lake in front of you, all in a total calm...
He was quite as usual, leaning against the tree trunk while you sat next to him, leaving a distance between the two of you. He was folding one leg and resting his arm on his knee, while spreading the other one on the grass, the upper part of his cloak has been unbuttoned, showing the upper part of his shirt and his necklace, while you were sitting next to him, one hand on your lap while using the other one to support yourself while leaning backwards, and putting your bag and umbrella beside you.

"Have you been waiting for me?", he broke the silence, asking you after a while of watching the beautiful swans together silently. His question made you blush slightly as you remained silent for a while, then replied with a shy nod, "I needed to see you again, Itachi".
He looked at you, arching his brows a little, "why?", he asked.

"Itachi I insist...I wanna know what happened and why you did that", you told him after some hesitation. He didn't cut you off this time, he didn't say anything for a while, he just looked ahead at the lake again, as you waited for his reply.
"Just for this?", he muttered, looking at your face. What does he mean by saying 'Just' for this? Doesn't he see how concerned you are and how important this is to you? Doesn't he want to tell you?! Or Maybe...he meant that you have another reason beside that you actually want to know what happened to the clan.

"Yes, I came for that and...", you trailed off, looking away from his eyes, hiding the cute blush on your cheeks.
"And?", he asked in a calm voice, tilting his head so he can look at your face.
"Uh...just tell me first",  you said looking at him, he looked back at the lake silently, as you felt disappointed again, he will just avoid your question as usual...

"[name], I will tell you, but if you tell anyone else...I will have no other option but to kill you", he said simply, as you felt both excited and afraid at the same time, feeling shocked that he actually accepted to tell you what happened!
You knew he can end life easily if he wanted to, but no, there was no time to get back now, he finally seems to open up a bit.

"You can totally trust me, Itachi, I will not tell anyone, including lady Noriko", you said as he nodded, you turning your full attention to him.
"What happened, was a top secret mission. I have been put between two choices, either the peace of the village and my brother's safety, or war...", he started telling you what happened, and how things have been getting from bad to worse between the village's leaders and the clan heads. You listened carefully to every word he said, and as you expected...there was something big behind it, he didn't just do it for selfish reasons, he was forced to...

"And now, here I am...a member of the Akatsuki", he said, finishing telling you what happened. Looking at you he noticed the sad look on your face, but most importantly he was surprised at himself...why did he tell you?! Why did he felt that sudden urge to let it all out when you asked him?! Why he...trusted you?! 

"It wasn't your fault, Itachi", you said, trying to hold back your tears, ",they shouldn't have put you in that situation, they could have thought of other things, there would be so many solutions, things could have been worked out and...and...", you said while he just sighed then looked ahead of him again and said: "there was no time for other plans, things were too complicated then, and also...it was me who accepted to do that".
You looked at him then let a sad sigh and said:"you weren't the same Itachi as now, you were younger back then...that night must have been so terrible...", he didn't show any kind reaction to that, he simply replied with "it's over now", that you could barely hear.
It was a disaster, to put someone at that age in such a situation, to make him kill his own clan with his own hands, only someone heartless can do this.

"Don't think much about it now [name], I told you this so that you stop being curious about it, after all, that's had already happened, nothing can be changed now", he said noticing your sadness. You looked at him and nodded quietly, then looked at the calm lake in front of you as some leaves fells from the trees as the wind blew gently.
"At least now I know what happened, and I know I should be more cautious, and also, I know I was right about you", you said playing with the hem of your kimono, not noticing his little smile.

"So [name], tell me, what was the other reason you wanted to see me for?", he asked crossing his arms over his chest as you looked at him, he can clearly see your face starting to blush again as you seemed nervous.
"Um...I just wanted to see you...t-that's all", you said with a bit of hesitation and stuttering, looking away from him.
"Well I know why", he said with a little smirk as you turned to look at him blushing even more.
"W-what do you mean?", you asked quietly.
"It's the same reason I came here to see you for, [name]...", he said, with a kind little smile not a smirk, as your lips parted slightly before forming a sweet smile as well.
