"Itachi! What was that for?!", you asked him with a pout, getting inside and closing the door crossing your arms over your chest, that blush still on your face. Itachi just smiled gently at you and mentioned for you to come close patting the spot beside him, you did as he said and sat next to him on the bed, as he shut his book giving you his full attention.

"Here we are, [name], it's more than a year since we have met, and here we are, soon to be married", he started, slightly surprising you with this, you smiled warmly at him, holding his hand in yours and looking at it, remembering your first meeting with him after seeing that dream, and how startled and afraid you were after meeting him and seeing his eyes for the first time, finding out who he is, then finding out you are an Uchiha...

"I know, I will", you responded with a sweet smile, as he then kissed your forehead, then pulled you to his chest, hugging you so tight as his hands found its why to your hair, stroking it gently.
"Alright love, now you finish packing, so tomorrow we start heading back to your village, our village where our home is, okay?", he said smiling at you after he pulled back, tucking a stand of hair behind your ear, you nodded, then standing up continuing what were you doing.

After three days of travel in a relatively bad weather, you have finally reached your village, it was partially cloudy, but it was nice, after all you're back home.
"Itachi, come with me", you said with a giggle, you want him to come with you and see lady Noriko as well, as now he is your fiancé and you also wanted to tell her about the news that you will not be back to the Akatsuki while he is with you.
"Well, let's go then, but I will leave shortly after, I have some matters to take care of", Itachi said smiling as he nodded.
"What matters?", you asked out of curiosity.
"I need to do some works in our house, some parts of the floor needs to be taken care of, and the tatami in the reception room needs to be redone again", he said explaing to you, still keeping his watchful eyes all over the area around.
"Ah, I see, but the tatami was in a good condition, why to change it?", you raised an eyebrow and crossing your arms over your chest.
"It is for now, but soon it will need to he changed, so I decided to do it now, also I need to make sure the heaters works fine, and the water connection is well installed, and I need to do some work in the garden and also-", he started citing his new 'missions' to you quickly as you then stopped him with a laugh.
"Okay Itachi! okay..." you managed to say through your giggles, "I won't ask more questions now, I will come with you there later and you will show me everything", you said, caressing his cheek gently then slightly pinching him as his face expression softened.
"Alright, we will go there later, maybe at evening, you first need to see Noriko and spend sometime with her", he said as you nodded, a small smirk made its way up to your face.
"Look at yourself Itachi, already acting like a responsible and caring husband...", you said as he smirked back, taking your hand to his lips and kissing it gently, "I should be, when I have the most gorgeous girl in the world", you giggled at his words, it's a sweet and cute, but also a bit weird when Itachi tries to flirt, it is not like what you have heard about him before, but you love it!
"Alright Mr.Uchiha, let's head to the village", you said, kissing his cheek quickly and taking his hand, turning around about to start walking again.

"Sure Mrs.Uchiha, let's not waste more time", Itachi said, gently pressing your hand as you two walked toward the entrance to your village then got inside.
