"Welcome back!! Come on in!!", lady Noriko said excitedly welcoming the two of you inside, she can already tell this visit is different, usually it's only you who comes but this time you have brought Itachi with you.
You have been sitting on the floor beside Itachi in the reception room with a cup of tea in front of each of you, as the gente lady sat across from you.
"Welcome here again, [name], son, so how's everything going?", she asked, smiling and looking at the two of you, you smiled back at her and said:"everything is good, actually I have some good news to tell you my lady", the lady nodded taking a sip from her cup of tea.
"Have you two finally set a date for the wedding?", she asked with a big smile making you blush slightly, Itachi looked at you and smiled slightly then said:"not yet my lady, the house still needs a few touches, and then everything will be ready".
She nodded, letting out a small chuckle at how you blushed even more then said:"so sweetheart, what are the news you have? You've got me curious".
"Right, well my lady, well...I will not leave this time, I'm back to stay here, I left the organization", you said with a big smile noticing the surprise on her face, Itachi was just busy enjoying his warm cup of tea.
"But dear...I thought it was impossible, they were threatening you and...", she said confused.
"Yeah, but that was before, somehow Itachi convinced them to let me go, but still, I might be summoned in emergencies, such as that first time they took me to heal one of their members", you explained as she nodded, "so for now you will stay here, you will not be going there for weeks and months?", she said, as if she wanted to make sure of what you had told her.
"No m'lady, [name] is back here permanently", Itachi said calmly, giving the old lady a gentle small smile, as you nodded.
"That's an amazing thing to hear! Now it will be less complicated for you to settle down, there won't be much trouble for you two to get married now I guess", she said with a warm big smile as you nodded, "yeah, we just need to finish the house's preparations and well...", you said with a little blush on your face as she smiled at you.
"Alright, I need to leave now", Itachi said calmly, excusing himself and standing up after the three of you fished your tea and your small chatting, you walked him to the door along with lady Noriko, who seems overjoyed to have you back to her.
"Thank you son for keeping your promise and keeping her safe during all this time, I hope things go well for you two and that you finally find peace and happiness", the lady said to Itachi who was about to leave, smiling at him as he nodded thanking her for her welcoming and her support and patience this whole time, the lady excused herself and made her way back inside saying she has some work to do.
"Alright [name], I will go now, then I will come later to take you", Itachi with a smile, but you shook your head no and said:"I will come on my own, I know where the house is and I have the keys so why make you come all the way back here again? Besides, I don't want a certain someone see us together", you said the last part with some annoyance clear on your face as you were busy fixing the collar of his cloak.
"And who's this one?", he asked out of curiousity, and caution.
"A friend of mine...her name is Akane, she loves gossip and spreading rumors, and has a bad habit of fangirling over every handsome man she sees", you said, glaring at him seeing the sly smirk making its way up to his face, someone is jealous.
"Oooh, I see, so that's why you want to come on your own", he said with a smirk, passing a hand through his hair then putting his straw hat on his head.
"Don't oooh me Itachi! Y-you go now, we talked much here at the door, and it's not something really appropriate to do", you said narrowing your eyes, pouting and blushing simultaneously.
"You're right dear, but don't get jealous, I will not look at anyone else but you", he said with a smirk then chuckled, noticing your puffed cheeks, as you just crossed your arms over your chest and looked aside avoiding his eyes.
"Alright, a kiss?", he asked gently, he can't just leave without this right? You giggled looking at the cute look in his, that smirk no longer there.
"A kiss..."
