"MY LADY!!", you hurried to her overworried after she fainted, you held her close to you notcing that she had just passed out but she was still breathing regularly...
"What happened to her?!", Itachi asked as he bent down beside you, looking at her worriedly, "she fainted...we shouldn't have just surprised her like that...but there wasn't another way", you said as Itachi nodded with a small sigh, looking at Tatsu who was just looking at the three of you confused, not really knowing what happened.

"You're finally awake m'lady...", you said with a small smile holding the lady's hand in yours as she finally opened her blue eyes looking at you confused, was that just a dream? What happened to her?
"I am not so old to the point to start imagining this kind of stuff...I thought I saw your...husband, darling...", she said as she sat in the futon you and Itachi put her in.
"My lady...listen, take it easy, it wasn't imagination, Itachi is really here", you said in the most calm and gentle vay you can as she looked at you with a blank expression on face.
"I will explain to you how, but please my lady, relax now and try to understand and accept slowly what I'm gonna tell you", you said with a smile, handing her a glass of water, as she just took it from you slowly taking few sips from it.

"You mean...he is... really here?!"

"Yyes"

She didn't say anything as she just closed her eyes for a while, trying to contemplate what you have told her, then she looked at you and said: "I'm listening...tell me how did such a thing happen!", you nodded to her, tightening your hold on her hand a bit reassuringly as you started to expalin what happened.

"Dad?", Tatsu called for Itachi, as the latter was standing outside on the wooden engawa, looking at the garden and thinking about what's happening, trying to find a way not to make things worse, well until you expalin to the old lady what happened.
"Yes my son, what is it?", Itachi looked down at the little boy with a small smile on his face, apparently a bit saddened with what happened with the lady and you this morning...it seems things will take a bit before everything gets back to the way it was.
"Dad...I love you", Tatsu said with a big smile as he hugged his father's leg, making Itachi gasp slightly and smile tenderly at him, then bend down and pick him up in his arms and kissing him.

"I love you too son, I'm so happy I have you...", Itachi whispered as they both looked at the plants in the small garden surrounding the house, while Itachi was still thinking what will happen next.

"So...he is now back...", the lady said looking at you as you nodded, still she doesn't seem to take it easily.
"But still...nothing can justify what he did to you [name]! I thought I was gonna lose you! You cried days and nights for him! he left suddenly the day after your marriage without introductions, after you got pregnant not even caring what will happen to you!! Not even a hint or a little letter to explain what happened! He could at least leave a letter to apologize!", she said in a mad voice as you bite your lip.
"My lady please...I have already gave him long lectures about what happened...and he is really sorry", you said softly, trying to calm her down and lighten up the situation.
"He should be!! Where is he now?! I want to see him immediately!", she said as she got up, ignoring her tiredness, as all what she wanted, is to see Itachi and talk to him.
"I will call him my lady, but first let's have lunch...I mean...Tatsu is hungry", you said with a smile trying to change the subject for a while. Mentioning Tatsu, and taking a while to eat, will surely help subside her anger and help her calm down.

"Fine...", she said calmly with a sigh, as she made her way to the kitchen to help, while you went out to look for Itachi, finding him outside with Tatsu in his arms looking ahead at the plants in the garden silently.
You sighed as you felt sad for him, this much blaming is enough for him, you walked up to him, then gently tapped on his shoulder making him turn to you.
"Come on, let's have lunch...", you said with a smile, placing your hand on his arm, seeing Tatsu leaning against his shoulder sleepily.
"She is mad right...", Itachi said with a sigh as looked at your eyes.
"A little bit...but don't worry, okay?", you smiled again at him, gently pulling him inside with you as he nodded.

It was a calm lunch, no one was talking except for Tatsu who was telling you every now and then what happened with him today at the kindergarten, or what he saw at the greenhouse with his dad.
"Alright [name], you take care of Tatsu and clean the kitchen then come back here, I have to talk with Itachi for a little while", the lady said after lunch, not moving from her place, making you nod in understanding as you got up and started cleaning the table and taking the empty dishes to the kitchen with the help of Tatsu before you take him to take his nap, while Itachi remained sitting in his place across from the lady waiting for what she will say to him.

"I know no matter what I will say, [name] will not let go of you, I don't even know why does she love you like this...insanely...but son...it is all up to you now, you made mistakes in the past and we just turned a blind eye to all of that, we thought of you as a new person, with a new life and new hopes, [name] ignored everything around her and just let herself follow you, nothing I could do would stop her because she wouldn't listen, and she will never listen when it comes to you, but...", the lady said seriously as Itachi remained silent, not saying any word as he listened to her  carefully, ready to take everything she is gonna say to him.
"You have a wife and a son now! you have a home, yes you also have a brother who needs you but things changed now, you have to take care of these two as well, they are also your family, quite messing around and take responsibility as a husband and father, I know if you want to break our hearts again no one can stop you, but...we are putting our trust in you again, we are giving you another chance, a last one, so don't disappoint us...because the next time things will never be okay again, and I myself will make sure of that...", she said as Itachi nodded with a sigh as you walked back into the room sitting next to Itachi placing the vase of the roses he got for you on the table, after taking Tatsu to his room.

"M'lady, as I told you I already explained to him how-", you started to talk, but the lady quickly stopped you, she heard enough from you already.
"You keep quiet [name]", she said as she gave you a stern look making your eyes widen in surprise, she rarely talk to you this way.
"...sorry...", you muttered quietly looking down with a pout.
"Your over softness and unconditional love and forgiveness is what encouraged him to do what he did, he knows...you will always forgive him and he knows he can always be back, even if he messes up massively", she said looking at the two of you.
"But my lady, I told you what happened with him, it didn't happen on purpose...and yes! He can always be back to me anytime! I will never turn him down!", you said in a slightly high pitched voice as you took Itachi's hand in yours, surprising both yourself and him, while the lady remained silent, smiling from the inside at this.

"I said keep quiet [name], I'm not talking to you but to him", she said quietly, she wants now to see his reaction.
"I don't think I can say or do anything to make you trust me again right now like before, but I need time, and a second chance...and I will prove to you my lady, to [name], that I have changed, that her and Tatsu are my most important priority now", Itachi said calmly but seriously, intertwining his fingers with yours, and tightening his grip on your hand.
"I can't judge you...and I can't decide instead of you two what to do, you are wife and husband, and that's your own personal life which I will stay out of it, but please, I will...ask you one last time, don't break my daughter's heart again, don't  hurt your child, we really passed through a hard time fixing things up, try to make her happy again and help her forget what happened, try to repent your son for all the times he wished you were with him, make yourself happy son, and please...no more tears and crying...", she said with a nod as you smiled then looked at Itachi.
"I will not make her cry again...", Itachi said seriously as he held your hand in his, as then the lady smiled slightly, watching the look in your eyes for each other.
