"Here we are", Itachi said calmly as you two entered his room and locked the door. He watched you as walk ahead of him, until when he is gonna delay it? It's becoming harder and harder for him to hold back, you're his, and he knows from the look he sees in your eyes, you want him just as badly as he wants you but...these are not good circumstances and conditions for something like this, he doesn't want it to start in the Akatsuki, you deserve better than this...

"Itachi? What is it?", he blinked hearing your voice, you noticed that he zoned out a bit, what is he thinking about? Why is he blushing while staring at you?...is he thinking...of you? In a different way maybe?...now even you blushed.
He smiled as his cheeks turned a cute dark shade of pink, "[name] sweetheart, maybe you should get in bed, we will have to resume training tomorrow, okay?", he said, obviously trying to get rid of his blushing.

"Okay...", you replied calmly with a shrug, he can see the disappointment on your face as your own blush has faded away, he knows why, everytime you have a chnave to get closer he...just changed the subject, talk like he wasn't thinking about it...
"[name], I know what are you thinking, but sweetheart, I already explained to you why we should keep things slow for now...", he said softly pulling you to him as you were about to turn around and go to the bathroom, no, he can't let you be disappointed at him.
"No Itachi, I understand and you're right...", you said with a sigh, leaning against his chest as he rested his chin on your head gently and wrapped his arms around you.
Maybe it's time for him to make a further step, make a surprise for you, do something to refresh your relationship and assures you about the truth of his feelings towards you and he truly loves you, adores you...

"[name], I talked to our leader a while ago", he started as he pulled back from the hug and walked with you toward the bed sitting you down as he sat next to you.
"When? Where?", you asked, a bit confused.
"He is here, but that's not important. I talked to him about you [name], I made it sure that you are here only to heal not to fight even if you have the Sharingan, for now [name], you will not go on any missions until your training is complete, you will only stay here and heal members in case they needed, alright?", he said with a gentle smile tucking a strand of hair behind your ear as your eyes slightly widened, great! You are not gonna be put face to face with blood and fights again for a while, and you will have a good time to study and learn more about medical ninjutsu and skills, the Sharingan and ninjutsu and get more and more deep into these things.
"Itachi...thank you! I'm glad to hear about this I wasn't really comfortable going on missions with others...", you said with a smile as he nodded.
"Well I might go on missions but you will stay here, I'm sure you will be able to handle things on your own right?", he asked with a smirk as you nodded reassuringly and said:"of course! there is no need to worry about me, but try to be back soon".
"Alright, also...after few days we will go pay lady Noriko a visit", he said with a smile noticing how your eyes brightened heading this, he knows nothing makes you happy more than being home, especially at this time.
"I-Itachi...really? I mean...", you said as you giggled and hugged him tight, making him chuckle a little.
"You're happy huh", he said as he looked into your eyes, now you're less disappointed at him, that's a good start for now, hopefully the surprise he was preparing for you will be ready soon to make you even more happier...
"Well I can't be happier for now, I guess I can go to sleep now", you said with a giggle as you kissed his cheek and got up, heading to the closet and grabbing some comfortable clothes heading to the bathroom to take a quick shower as he waited for you.

You have been sitting on the bed drying you hair with a towel, thinking about the day you go back to your village and all the things you will do, when the bathroom's door opened and Itachi walked out, his hair dripping as well as he put a towel on it.
"Itachi?!", he looked up at you noticing the change in the tone of your voice, what now?
"Yes babe?", babe? Cute...
"The eyedrops...are you still using them? Because I don't think so", you said, narrowing your eyes in accusation as he sighed...good, it's not a problem then.
"Of course, I'm keeping them hidden in the bathroom's cabinet, wait...", he said as he hurried back to the bathroom, walking back with the bottle you have given him a while ago.

"See? I have used more than half of it", he said giving you the bottle as you looked at it and smiled then giggled giving it back to, noticing how he acted worried that you'd be upset at him.
"Okay, I guess you're doing great, but...haven't you think about the surgery again?", you said, reminding him of your old suggestion, surgery will improve his sight significantly and permanently, the eyedrops are doing great in repairing the damage in his eyes still, the surgery will even make it better.
"Not now [name], you see I'm constantly busy, besides, I'm seeing very well now", he said, gently caressing your cheeks as you nodded, he didn't lie to you it was the truth that the eyedrops you have given him had helped him a lot.

"Yeah, but once we have time you will have to take it", he nodded at your words, why wouldn't he do so anyways? He trusts you.

"So, I can see you and Kisame go well together", he said as you two laid in bed facing each other ready to sleep.
"Yes, he is very nice to me", you said with a smile, swirling a strand of Itachi's silky jet black hair around your finger.
"[name], you can trust Kisame, you can rely on him if I'm not around", he said with a smile, but you stopped playing with his hair as the gentle and relaxed look on your face has been replaced with a worried one.
"Why would you say this? Where would you go?!", you asked him, trying to sit up in bed as he just pulled down again, then close to his chest.
"I mean if I'm on a mission or something, that's all", he said, knowing that you thought he might leave you.
"Don't say that again, you're not going anywhere", you said with a sigh, kissing his chest as he chuckled and nodded, "of course, I will be with you".
You remained silent for a while, just snuggling to his chest searching for warmth as kept caressing your head, until you started feeling really sleepy.
"Goodnight...Itachi", you said through a yawn, he kissed your forehead whispering a goodnight for you, then turning off the lights as the two of you had fallen asleep.
