"Fine, I guess I will hold onto what you have said, Itachi, welcome back home, son", Notiko said as she smiled gently at Itachi, who smiled back and thanked her. You watched them with a happy look on your face, finally things are stating to get back the way they were supposed to be.

You closed the door as Noriko left your house, you walked to where Itachi was and stood up next to him on the engawa watching the fish pond together.

"I'm sorry again, Itachi...", you said in a low voice, looking down as Itachi turned to face you fully, confused at what are you apologizing for.
"Why is that for, [name]?!", he asked in a calm and soft voice, lifting your face up to him, seeing a small smile on your lips.
"I was cruel to you earlier...and even lady Noriko had scolded you again a while ago, I'm sorry for going a bit too extreme on you...", you said with a sigh looking into his eyes, noticing as his face lightened up as he smiled.
"No no no...it is okay...I deserved it for what I did, but at least now we are okay, at least I'm forgiven, and accepted again...", he said seeing how your lips curved into a beautiful smile, as you nodded, your cheeks then turned into a cute shade of pink.
"I gotta say, you have gotten really prettier [name]...", he whispered in a low voice, smiling as he loved the way your eyes reflected the sunlight, while his hand was playing with a strand of your hair, hearing these words from him made you feel the butterflies in your stomach again, as you enjoyed his soft touch.

"Itachi, I want to talk with you about something...", you said calmly but in a serious tone, as Itachi noticed the change on your face expression.
"Yes sweetheart, tell me what is it", he said softly, gently passing his hand on your cheek waiting for what you are gonna say next.
"Well...it's about your brother...", you started your talk, as he slightly narrowed his eyes hearing you mention his brother.
"Sasuke? What's with him [name]?", he said seriously as you let out a sigh.
"I guess...it is not fair to keep him clueless about your return...now that I think of it, I guess I overreacted earlier, he didn't know the truth when he fought you back then, but now you two had cleared up everything between you two, there is no more reasons for you to fight each other, on the contrary...I think you should become as close as you used to be before, so why not meet him and let him know you're back? You have got a new chance to start everything over again Itachi, you two can be back the way you used to be before, and I will not stand in the way between two brothers and get in your path to fix things up", you finished your words with a smile as you were holding Itachi's hand in yours, you can tell that he seemed glad to hear what you have said.
"Well...I'm not sure how this is gonna turn out...but I will think about it, of course I'd like to see him, I know he had suffered a lot too even though we made up, but I guess...it will be beautiful to meet again and talk more...", Itachi said, as the image of Sasuke's sad face seeing him disappear when the edo tensei has been stopped came to his mind, Sasuke seemed so sad to say farewell to him so soon after they finally made up...
"Well, now you will not have to hide things or leave again...you're back, live your life the you want it to be Itachi, be happy...", you smiled gently squeezing his hand, feeling him also tightening his hold on yours.
"I will think about Sasuke more later, but for now I want you [name], I want to spend time with you and with our son, and catch up to all what I have missed, love...I'm so lucky I have you...", Itachi said as he then kissed you.

"I love you so much [name]...", Itachi whispered as he pulled back, his eyes looking all over your face, admiring how beautiful you are...
"I love you too", you said with a little giggle, jokingly poking his nose, but before you could say anything else, you heard a very familiar cute voice.

"Mom!"

"I'm here Tatsu!", you called back answering your son's call for you, as you looked inside the house through the opened shoji screen seeing him coming to you while still rubbing his sleepy eyes after waking up from his nap. "There you are!", you smiled as you picked him up and kissed his face, giggling as you noticed how he clutched at you tightly as he yawned and smiled, while Itachi gently stroked his back, you looked at them both, they are so much alike, Itachi surely was as sweet and cute as Tatsu when he was his age...it is terrible what war can do to innocent people...

"So you two, aren't you gonna show me what you have got from your little trip in the village?", you asked them, Itachi nodded with a smile, while you laughed at how excited Tatsu turned as he remembered the beautiful plants he got from the greenhouse earlier with his dad, the three of you then headed back inside together, to take a look at the pretty plants.
