Chapter 18

You stood up and dusted your clothes off as Itachi watched you silently and patiently.
"I need to go back home first", you said looking at him, he knows exactly how you feel now, too scared and feeling lost.
"Why?", he asked in a monotone voice.
"I need to let lady Noriko know I will leave so that she won't worry, and also, to grab things I might need for healing of course", you said as he kept quiet for a brief moment then he said:"Then I will come with you".
"N-No! You can just wait for me at the gate of the village...if I don't come back then you can come after me", you said, of course you don't want to tell lady Noriko you met him again and make her worry, you don't want to tell her he is kinda of...kidnapping you, you are not even sure what to do, but that's what you wanted to do at that moment.

"Why are you afraid of me today?", he asked as if he could read what was on your mind easily. Of course, the way you have been acting this time, pushing him away and trying to distant yourself from him, and even trying to fight him made him notice, you weren't all nice like how you used to be the first you have met. Even before he could tell you why he came, you seemed unhappy to see him, it was clear by the way you didn't even greet him back when he said good morning earlier...
"I'm not afraid...", you lied, you sure were, it's only a matter of time until he finds out you knew everything about him and the Uchiha clan, then he will end your life...that...if he isn't here for that in first time...
"Fine, let's head back then", he said as you nodded, then the two of your started walking back to your village.

As you promised, you had came back after grabbing your necessary things and telling lady Noriko you've got an emergency outside the villag. He was still waiting for you outside the gate of the village, with that collar and straw hat covering most of his face.
"Let's go", you muttered, starting to walk beside him as the two of your remained silent. It wasn't long after when you have reached the meadow again, but this time there was another man waiting for the two of you.

You stopped walking and stood still in your place feeling uncomfortable about this new comer. He was wearing the same outfit as Itachi and the same straw hat, while carrying something big on his back wrapped in bandages, but what caught your attention the most, was his face, something that looks like...a shark.
"I see you're already done Itachi. Shall we head back now?", the other man said in what seemed a playful tone, finishing his words with a chuckle.
Itachi didn't say anything and just looked at you beside him, noticing the look on your face, he knew you were not happy about this.

"[Name]", he called your name calmly cutting your string of thoughts, you looked at him immediately, at his face, and for some reason you felt relaxed that he is with you, despite everything you have heard about him and despite what have just happened with him, he has a very calming aura...
"don't be afraid, that's Kisame, my partner", he said, as if he wanted to assure that everything is fine and there is no need to worry. 

"He is not gonna do anything to harm you, the both of us are here to make sure you reach our destination safely. Let's keep walking for now", you just nodded at his words, trusting him and believing everything he had said, despite the fact that there was nothing to make you trust what he had told you.
You didn't have a choice after all, but also he is just...
You quickly turned your face aside hiding your blush from him. You didn't even know why this was happening to you, could it be that you had started to...like him?

The three of you kept walking. The weather was nice but still, walking for long time under the sun started to have an effect on you.
You didn't say anything as you just wanted to get your work done and head back quickly, taking a breaks will only make you take longer to finish your job, and spend more time with these two.

Suddenly, you have been surprised as something has been placed on your head, shading you from the sunlight. It was a hat, more precisely, Itachi's straw hat, looking at him, you found him already looking at you as well.

"Thank you", you murmured rising your hands up and fixing the hat position a little, Itachi just nodded and kept walking silently, while Kisame smirked from the other side as he was walking a bit away from the two of you.
