"That's enough...Sasuke..."

You all became silent at once hearing Itachi's voice...the surprise was so great for Sasuke...he just remained speechless looking at the direction where Itachi was standing at the doorframe...
What in the world....
Is it some sort of illusion? No...he would have figured it out easily, is it a trick? Maybe someone that looks like him?
You watched him as he stood up slowly still not saying anything, his eyes fixed on Itachi, not blinking or twitching, that's not possible...he was with Itachi when he stopped the edo tensei and left this world forever...

"Sasuke...you came", Itachi said calmly with a smile, knowing that his brother is still under a shock, maybe he shouldn't bring it up all so suddenly, but after all...Itachi also couldn't hold back, he has been for the time he sees his younger brother for long...
"B-Big brother?...is that really you?!...how?...", Sasuke said in a low cracking voice...that was barely heard, the moment was a mess of emotions, between love, missing, confusion, the feels of...meeting that's someone we haven't a chance to spend enough time with ...
You watched them as you were standing up too, trying to hold back your tears as you saw Sasuke ignoring all the questions in his head and just run to his brother and hug him tight with his only arm clutching at Itachi clothes as if he was afraid he'd go again the moment he let go, he was juzt silent...not saying anything, still not believing it...
You know how it feels, you also passed through this situation...after totally losing hope, you just find him...the great enough of happiness recieved at that moment was way more for Sasukes brain and heart to handle it, it was great to the point to make him lose words to say what's on his mind.
Itachi smiled and closed his eyes as he hugged his brother back, he was savoring the moment to the maximum, he have you, Tatsu, and now even Sasuke, years aho, he never thought things would turn out this way...but just as you said, everything will be okay...

Sasuke pulled back after a while, he looked at his brother's eyes trying to make sure again it is Itachi for real, he is smiling, happy to see him, he doesn't seem tired or stressed as before, he looks...like the old days, when they were younger, happy and free, and everything is fine...
To Itachi, no matter how old Sasuke is, he will always be his beloved younger brother, when he met him and explained to him what happened during the reanimation jutsu, they couldn't spent enough time with each other for the last time they met after finally knowing the truth and making things up between them, their farewell was short and brief and...sad...Sasuke wished he could have talked with Itachi more and stayed with him more, make up even for a little of the time he has been fooled, but back then, Itachi didn't have an option but to stop the forbidden technique and leave the world again...

"I'm glad to see you here Sasuke, welcome", Itachi said, breaking the silence, you had already left the room and headed to the kitchen a while ago letting them be, you didn't want to bother them, you want them to feel at ease and also, you wanted to let your tears fall down freely without any of them seeing you.
"How is that...even possible?! Where were you all this time?! Why didn't you let me know you're here?! How are you alive?!!!!", Sasuke started asking his brother question after question, he couldn't just believe it...Itachi is here alive, fine, a home and a small family in this far and small village, he needs a lot of explanations!!! And he needs to know, and make sure Itachi isn't gonna leave again.
"Sasuke, I will explain to you everything, but first...I'm so sorry for everything, I'm sorry again for hiding the truth from you, I'm sorry to put through such a hard path in life...I'm sorry...for all the wrong decisions I've made...", Itachi said with a small smile full of sorrow, "now, please sit down Sasuke", Itachi added as Sasuke just did as his brother said, waiting for answers...

"Mom, who's that guy and why is he talking with dad?", Tatsu asked as he followed you to the kitchen and sat at the table playing with a flower he picked from the garden while you where making soup, you turned around to him and smiled brightly, now feeling very happy and excited for Itachi to finally meet his brother.

"That man is called Sasuke, and he is your uncle", you said as Tatsu's eyes widened as he heard what you said.

"Uncle?!"

"Yes sweetheart, he is your dad's younger brother", you replied with a nod turning around again and continuing to preapre the food while Tatsu was still thinking about it, that's good! He have an uncle too now but...

"Mom? Why don't I have a brother?", Tatsu asked innocently, making you giggle a bit as you looked back at him again and said:"maybe you will have one in the future, but tell me, would you like to have a brother or a sister?", you then turned back to the stove as he sighed while thinking, tough choice...

"It is okay with both", he replied to your question as you smiled and nodded at him, 'we should first make sure dad isn't gonna run away again...', you thought to yourself as you covered the cooking pot then washed your hands and turned to your son and said with a smile: "okay now darling, I will wait for the food to be done, and then we will all have lunch together", Tatsu nodded at you with a smile in understanding.

"...it is still hard to believe it...", Sasuke said as Itachi finished telling him how come that he is alive, he told him about you and the medicine and your use for medical ninjutsu to revive him, he told him about the edo tensei and that it was after it when he got back alive, but still he didn't tell him enough about his relationship with you and how it have developed to this.
"But why didn't you try to reach for me?!! Why didn't you let me know you're alive?!!", Sasuke asked a bit hurt by this, thinking that Itachi might have wanted to cut his relationship totally with the past, and maybe even with him, and that now he only cares for his new little family.
"I'm really sorry about that Sasuke,I only got back here a few weeks ago and I was trying to settle down, [name] actually asked me to search for you and meet you and let you know everything after I told her what happened, believe me Sasuke, I was planning to come see you soon", Itachi said with a smile, Sasuke after all this time, after all what happened, he can't be mad at Itachi now, no, he is overjoyed to have the one he loves the most back...

"Itachi, this time I'm not letting anything separate us again...", Sasuke said in a serious voice looking at Itachi, the look on his face changed into a determined one, Itachi only nodded at him in agreement with a little smile.
"As I was saying before to [name], I want to ask you to get back to the leaf with me, together we will bring back the glory of our clan!", Sasuke said, Itachi didn't say anything for a while as a reply to this, he was expecting this from him, but the older Uchiha brother had other plans in mind about his future...with [name].
"I'll be with you Sasuke, you should know that I will be always by your side and love you unconditionally like I always did, I will be there whenever you need me, but...I can't be back to the leaf", Itachi said calmly, making his brother's eyes widen slightly in a surprise hearing this, wasn't the leaf what he sacrificed his life and the clan for previously? Doesn't he want to be back to their home village, and make a new era for the Uchiha?
