You have been with Shizune in the Hokage's office doing some works as Tsunade asked the two of you. There were piles of papers you needed to organize and sort, it was a bit boring, but you took this chance to learn more about the village you're staying in and its inhabitants.
You have been looking through a stuck of papers, that contained files of old students of the Academy, when a word on one of the files captured your attention: 'Uchiha'.

Sasuke Uchiha? A boy with a fair skin and black eyes and hair with bangs framing his face, looking so much familiar...to...Uchiha...Itachi?!
"Lady Shizune? Who's this one?", you asked in a calm voice, the black haired woman looked at the file in your hand, and then you could see her face expression change, as she looked sad.
"That's Sasuke, from the Uchiha clan...he is no longer here...", she trailed off, while you looked deepily at his face, he looks like Itachi a lot.

"Where is he?", you asked trying to figure out more about him, and more about that mysterious Itachi you have met a while ago.
"I don't know if I should tell you but...anyway, there is nothing to hide since everyone knows...", she said with a sigh, as you nodded for her to continue.

"He left the village to seek more power, now he is considered a missing ninja", she said in a low voice.
"Why did he leave? What power is he looking for and why?", you asked.
"He is after his older brother Itachi", your eyes widened as you gulped. Your suspicions has been confirmed, he is related to Itachi, his brother actually, but...why is he after him? What happened?

"Why is he after him? What happened?", you asked in confusion.
There was a moment of silence before Shizune spoke again, she wasn't sure she can tell you.
"There was a tragedy that happened to their clan. The whole Uchiha clan has been slaughtered by Itachi in a single night, sparing only Sasuke. Itachi then left and ever since then has been declared an S-ranked missing ninja, he is too dangerous", Shizune said.
You remained silent as your mouth was slightly opened in surprise, the shock was greater for you to just accept, is this even real? Itachi...the man you've met a while ago, the one you went with to a forest 'alone', shared a lunch with, healed and cured...he killed...his own clan in a single night...

"[name] are you okay?", Shizune asked you, noticing the sudden change on your face. You were feeling a bit dizzy, your face and lips turned pale as you felt your hands trembling and sweating...still not believing what you have just heard.
"[name]??!!", now she was worried, maybe it was a bad idea to tell you in the first place about this stuff.

"Oh...I-I'm fine, I just zoned out a little bit thinking about all of this ,it is terrible...", you muttered, trying to force a reassuring smile on your face as you put the paper in your hand with the rest of the files. No, you can't show her that you know him, you might get in a big trouble and ruin your plan for learning in here...
"Are you okay?", she asked again, still concerned about you.
"Sure! Let's keep working", you said pretending that nothing is wrong, while everything seemed to be wrong...
"That's how the ninja world can be sometimes, so cruel...don't tell lady Tsunade I told you these things, or else we are both gonna be in trouble", she said as you nodded and resumed organizing the rest of the files and books.

You were heading back to your home, still thinking of what Shizune told you about Itachi. It is very hard for you to believe that that gentleman is actually a merciless killer...the symbol on the headband he wears is the same that is worn by ninjas of this village, but his own has a slash in the middle of it...it means he is a rogue ninja...how did you miss this?! He is really the one...
You stopped walking as you looked at the library on your side. Great! you can research more about this whole Uchiha stuff and know more, the better you know the better you can protect yourself. You took a deep breath as you entered, not really knowing that there is even a bigger surprise waiting for you in the inside.

You remained speechless just staring at the opened book in front of you...
The Uchiha symbol has been drawn in the middle of the page with some informations and explanations about it. It is an illustrates a fire fan due to the ability of the members of the clan to use fire mainly and skillfully in their attacks...
A fire fan, colored in white and red...you were stunned and shocked at the fact that this symbol is the same one you have on your bracelet...
'What's the meaning of this?!...' you thought to yourself as feeling of unease and being lost overwhelmed you...
Why would your parents give you an Uchiha bracelet as a memento to remember them? Your last name isn't Uchiha...you're not so sure now of this now...

Thinking about it for a while and about what Noriko told you about the meaning of it, you know clearly now...you are an Uchiha yourself...[last name] was just a fake name to deceive the others and keep you away from any danger, that's probably why lady Noriko asked you to leave the bracelet with her so no one finds out who your truely are.

Did Itachi know who are you? Of course...after bumping into him that day and losing your bracelet, he surely knew who you are, he knows you, but...is he after you? Does he want to kill you as well? Why didn't he do that when he had the chance to? Was meeting him spontaneous or did he plan it?  

You rembrberd when he asked you about the symbol on your bracelet the day he returned it back to you. You didn't even mention anything about the Uchiha clan, you were clueless and everything about you told him you that you don't know anything, was he making sure of who you are first?

Two big surprises in just one day, to know who is Itachi and more importantly, know who you really are...what else would you find out?
You flipped the page and read the lines as you looked at the shape of the iris drawn underneath to illustrate the 'Sharingan', the thing Uchihas are known for possessing, they are the same eyes you've seen in your dream a while ago...

You also remembered the first day you met Itachi, His eyes were just like the shape drawn in the book in front of you, red irises with three black coma shaped things in each one of them. You thought you were just imagining it back then, especially after seeing him again with his eyes naturally black, now you have no doubt about it, the tiredness and the damage in his eyes are surely because using his eyes too much, as the books says.
